Sometimes if you tap on the percent it will change to loc, or page number.

I have a question girls, for Page Jumping since it's only 10 of us, how would the pages differentiate? I mean, member 10 only reads up to 600 pages. How do we gain the maximum points?

Ah T, I just looked it over again and noticed the points distribution:

Heat 1:
➜ 5 points per book UP to 400 pages
➜ 10 points per book 401 pages - 500 pages
➜ Bonus 10 points upon completion
Heat 2:
➜ 5 points per book UP to 400 pages
➜ 10 points per book 401 pages - 500 pages
➜ Bonus 15 points upon completion


So in the end, it doesn't really matter for heat 1 and 2 - the ones we need to finish in order for the event to be considered completed.

Heat 3:
➜ 10 points per book UP to 400 pages
➜ 15 points per book 401 pages - 500 pages
➜ 20 points per book 501 pages - 551+ pages
➜ Bonus 35 points upon completion
Heat 4:
➜ 10 points per book UP to 400 pages
➜ 15 points per book 401 pages - 500 pages
➜ 25 points per book 501 pages - 651+ pages
➜ Bonus 60 points upon completion

So for heat 3 and 4, it doesn't really matter either.
We could read up to 600 pages with 10 members. So we'd fall into the maximum point bracket anyway.

Good morning (or afternoon depending on where you are)! It's 6 AM here and time to start! Not for me, though. I shall be loading into a car with my two grown/almost grown sons, one's girlfriend and my mother for a trip to the mountains. It will be a long trip! But the worst part is the endless hours that I can't be reading because I'll be driving :-(

Anyway - I see that I landed in the first heat for the seven leg, which is fine. I just wanted to warn everyone that I am literally travelling all day and then will be honor bound to visit with family once we arrive this evening. So it will likely be tomorrow sometime before I get my book done.

I can check GR on my phone while I'm travelling today, so if you all decide to trade me out, send me a PM. But in the meantime, when I'm NOT driving today, I will start with my book - Mine to Take. It won't be much because cars and reading don't mix well for me... but I shall give it a go :-P

Do you have another witch book available? I hunted for Witch Song earlier - if you don't have it, I can pick it up. I snagged it as a kindle freebie at some point.

It looked like there were different versions and I happened to find another kindle edition with it showing it in two words. I just noticed it was part of a five book series and all other books are the same / 2 words smoothed into 2.

I'll take a quick look to see if I have other witch books though just to be sure.

Okay, since we seem to be able to sort that out, and Tamika put her book on the spreadsheet to be fit in, I guess that means that leg is going to stay the way it is. Good!

There has been a slight addition to the rules of Event 5 - Create a Chariot!


▲ Creatures must be of a size that can PULL a Chariot
▲ Tools must be tools that you can BUILD a Chariot
▲ Wheels must be "a circular object that revolves on an axle and is fixed below a vehicle or other object to enable it to move easily over the ground" and of a size that can SUPPORT the Chariot/Driver
(wheels off a car, bike, wagon.... are ok; a ferris wheel or roulette wheel are not)


Tamika, I'm afraid that means you're going to have to change one of your animal cover books!
