K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments The book I'm free to finish now fits the "Goodreads Author" task which keeps another mystery book slot open for my to read a non-paranormal, non-fantasy, non-historical book for.... :D

We used the extra guess from sinking our ship earlier and sadly it was a miss.

A8 - MISS - Read a book with a name in the title

I wish I could get away with that today :-(
I have about 2 hours left on my book and I can't get away with sneaky reading today. So sad...

I hope it's as good as the first one, K. I quite liked that one.

The only reason why I'm going to get away with it more blatantly today is because mostly everyone has taken the day off as yesterday was our national holiday. Taking advantage!! :-)

Ghost in the Stacks I am doing the Paranormal one now, as my mystery didn't download correctly this morning.. it should have been a 600 page something book, my my audio says it is only 2 hours...?
There is no way they fit 600 pages in 2 hours.

I'd lie there right alongside Abbie and Rosina hehe.

My kindle will do that sometimes too but then it seems like once I start reading, the 'time left' resets its self to something more reasonable. Hopefully yours downloaded ok!

I was in Australia earlier this year and each time someone asked where we were from and we said the US, they always asked if Trump was a joke/publicity stunt...it was horrible having to say that it was real :(

I plan on re-downloading when I get home, to see if it was just a glitch. But luckily I still had that Paranormal I was going to read as a bonus, but now we need it anyway, so It works out either way!
...however, I am really not enjoying it yet, so hopefully it picks up a bit.

Then have a quick historical I can do
Anna and the Swallow Man by Gavriel Savit

Snowtulip | 4679 comments Ok, so I'm doing The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass, #0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas (kindle) for fantasy (how haven't I read this yet :()

And going to start Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider (audio) for YA or Contemporary since it just came in from the library :)

Audio is faster for me, so that will probably get done first!

I started with The Assassin's Blade when I started that series! It was a bit rough and wasn't sure what to think about Celaena ~ but then it seemed to all come together more for me as I read through the series.

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Abbie wrote: "Let me know how Ink and Bone is, it is on my TBR!"

I definitely will! I'm using it as my carrot to read some of the others first although I don't know why, other than I'll be sad to have mystery book behind me instead of to look forward to! :P

message 1197: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13731 comments Mod
For the mystery, I'm going to pick up a book as well, one I've been meaning to read for months now, and which has been picked for me as a June Pofm by Jaclyn, so I'd better finally read it!! ;-)

An Evil Mind by Chris Carter

And now that I've mentioned the book, I really want to pick it up haha instead of reading The Laughing Corpse (Anita Blake Vampire Hunter, #2) by Laurell K. Hamilton .

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ | 1422 comments Hey Captains,

Do you have a tentative list on who's reading what for each task.

I'm don't want to start something and it not count for a primary task.

message 1199: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13731 comments Mod
There may be one or the other book missing - or books fitting multiple tasks might not have been added, but the general gist of who is reading for what is on the first page of the thread in this post.
