I can fit Eat, Pray, Love for "Sugar for Treats - Read a book that's sweet (chic lit, romance, cozy mystery, etc.)"

Aargh, I think I need to spend my evening reading so I can catch up with Blood Cross haha.

I am also almost finished with A Tale for the Time Being. I was going to bank it, but I think it might work for "Apples for Treats - Read a book with a mainly red cover or one featuring a teacher."The MC Nao spends a time with her great-grandmother, Jiko, who is a Buddhist nun. While with there, Jiko teaches her to have a "secret power" that helps her deal with life's twists and turns. She teaches her the ancient Zen meditation practice of zazen for finding peace. To me, this is a major part of the story :)

Hope everyone is doing good!!!It seems like I'm never able to get online these days :(
When do we start challenging, I thought we were supposed to start yesterday?
Well the tournament has been axed and is going to be replaced by boss monsters instead of playing against other teams.
Those cards will be up... soonish.
Captains don't know more than that yet either.

I've been having a hard time getting online too so I understand how you feel!
Our daughter and her new hubby are coming in tonight to stay with us for a week so it's going to be even more challenging!

I would of never found Tess without you all! I am fastly becoming addicted to her books.
That's why I love Goodreads and talking to like-minded people! Discovering so many new and awesome authors :-)
Gerritsen was recommended to me by a penpal's sister a couple of years ago and I haven't gotten around to reading anything of hers until The Surgeon a few weeks back with you guys.

For Horseshoes where horses are the main part of the story or on a farm. I'm reading Northern Exposure. It takes place on a ranch (not a farm) and they, of course, have horses and are riding in the story. Not sure if that would work.
There are about 400 people at my house right now and I think it's gonna be like this a lot for about a week. I'm gonna have to figure out how to get my read time on! Hmm....
There's a baby here too... soooo cute!
Yay, K! Full house! :-)
Don't worry too much about the reading! You'll find some time and if not, then so be it! :-)

Good luck trying to fit some time in...either that, or tell them they have to read to you while they are there. Maybe pass the book arpund and each person can read you a chapter.
