lol...it doesn't know what type of book it is.....On the cover it says novel, and if you Amazon it, is says The Bone Garden:A Novel
It's a stand-alone as far as I can see. And yay, one word in the text done already. I'm moving through mine which should be quick as it's short.
lol weird! We did need bone in the title for one of them but you did that.
We are nearly ready to level up to 8, nust waiting for LaurLa on her #2 book, and nearly finished with card 2, nust waiting on Karens "candle" book, we are dling awesome team!!
Tournament starts on Monday so i think small series books is the way forward for the minute, and if they fit in the other places great.
E and K would you say the same?
But I can see what Tamika see's, I guess it just depends on what edition you pick up?The edition Tamika has marked does indeed say #5, but its the only one that says that. Super Weird.
I should have my # 2 done later today. I did have a spot reserved for it...but its disappeared, I guess I was deleted, I knew you all did not like me.
Mmmhh for this challenge for the most part, page numbers do not matter at all, so the shorter the better so we can get more books read, and thus more tasks finished and the weapon level higher.
I know we can do less....but I do like to enjoy what I read, and the books I like tend to be a bit bigger in size. I have found a few small ones that fit in.
Shorter ones are more practical, but ultimately what you read is completely up to you!
Never said any differently anyway. Challenge is one thing but reading should be enjoyable!
I'm rarely switching to smaller ones either. Only if I want to get a task read for quickly and short is the only thing I can do at a quicker pace.

I added another book to the HEART spell it out, both of those will be done today since they are both small books that have been on my kindle for awhile :)

Now if you can convince Stephen King to write smaller books, then I would forever be in your debt!
lol i have IT to read at some point but it's 44 hours!!I mean I've read it before and it is amazing, but 44 hours is a big commitment lol
ok peeps, mainly Abbie, Tamika & LaurLa but if we can all check your wobble shelf total against the one on the official ss, it seems that there maybe a difference in numbers, especially for the 3 people mentioned. If there is a number difference can please check your books all have a read date on them as this may be the issue.
(In case of rereads, please make sure the date read is actually the new date - sometimes that causes trouble, too.)

I some had an extra book, it wasnt One I have even read yet, but I had it on my tbr shelf and wobble, I removed it, and it should match now.

ugh thats a tough one, 2 monsters with 50 health !! we may have to disgard one.We could potentially level our weapon up again with Abbies #2 book finished, LaurLa would you mind if i moved yours to another spot?
ok i made an executive decision beings that no one else was here haha.LaurLa i ha e mived your spot for #2 book and replaced it with Abbies completed one, we are now level 8 complete whoop!
Tbe issue we have at the moment is with the 2 monsters we have, bith have 50 health and 15 attack points, we only have 20 so we would have to hit him 2.5 times which we cant do.
My suggestion is to bin both of them and hope tomorrow we get a nice easy monster to kill
Finished my #2 in a series. In at the county fair so I can't add it to the SS, but it is on my shelf :)
Mmh, might be a good idea to ditch the monsters since they're a little stronger than we can manage.
Added your book, Jessica!

Goodnight girlies!! Have been out all day and just getting in to check in. Finished a #11 series book and almost done with my "R" book. Should be done tonight.
Stupid strong monsters!!
Gonna look for some 2's and 3's next...
I'm here!!! Sorry I haven't had time to get on GR today. We got home after 11:00 last night after the football game and the awesomeness of meeting K-Terror in person (not to mention winning the game) - I finished my book and had every intention of updating this morning but overslept! Had to rush to get my son to his JV football game this morning (where we got destroyed, K-Terror, so you have some revenge!). After that I fell asleep all afternoon! Seriosly, we got home around 1:30, ate lunch and then I fell asleep until 6:00!!! I can't say I mind that - nice long naps are lovely :-) Then dinner, grocery and now I'm here...So sorry I missed updating - I apologize if I held anything up. I'll go update now!
Was really really great to see Kristin! She's a cutie!!! Way cuter than me. And her hubby was too!
Sounds like you had a busy day, LaurLa!! :-)
No worries about the updating, really! Happens to all of us from time to time hehe.

Sabertooths!!
Kelly has had the idea of dropping the tournament part of the event.
Instead, we would be fighting Boss Monsters (on a separate tab in the spreadsheet, and separate from the smaller monsters we get with the cards), which we can kill only once and which would give nice rewards. They would also give a Wobble bonus per kill.
Imagine, sort of like in a video game: the bosses at the end of a level before you can move on to the next level, i.e. bigger monsters than the ones you fight along your way.
Would you be for this idea? Or would you rather keep the tournament, fighting against other Wobble teams?

CARD 3
You just finished killing your last monster of the day when you check the time (Sun is just nearing horizon). You figure you don't have time to go home and change, but luckily that last kill didn't mess with your shiny armor. You just polished it last night since you've been invited to the dinner at Sir Audrey Jane's. You are really looking forward to that dinner since she just got back from Hobb'ton and everyone knows that Hobb'ts like fine cuisine and always have plenty of food and love parties. You reach Sir Audrey Jane's place and see her standing in front of her door, grocery bags on the ground around her, and she is searching her bags like crazy. "What happened?" "Oh, it's you. Is it time already? You won't believe what happened. At last moment I remembered I forgot to purchase something for dinner and went to the market just to figure out I forgot my key. Again! We can't get into the house!"
Tasks:
•Read a book showing something through which you can enter a house
•Read a book showing something through which you can enter a house
•Read a book showing something through which you can enter a house
•Read a book where there is break in
Rewards:
