By the way, if someone is dying to read another #6 book, then I can switch Into the Hollow to the horror/paranormal spot.
Just in case someone would like to have the option :-)

ugh. been watching a documentary aboutthe Aberfan Disaster, it's 50 years this week so there has been a lot on the tv about it.It's only one village down from us, and we have been to visit the cemetery where all of the children are buried, such a sad story.
i know it's awful, the village lost a whole generation that day, i think it was something like 112 chikdren died!!!
Looks like the Sabertooths have lost their conversation mojo.....Hopefully everone is just at home reading.
So I read the other day that the average person only reads 9 books per year.?????
Can you imagine how long it would take to fill these task, IF we were all average women?
When we were at the wedding and people asked me about my reading, they were shocked when I said I read about 275-300 books a year. Lol
Sorry, MIA because work has been insane!! I'm wondering if I can ever go back to only reading a few books a month...it would be difficult ;)
9 books a year?! That's like... nothing.
Funny though that 9 is supposed to be the average. Just looking at how many people are on Goodreads... Hmm...

And just think how many aren't.
Last book my brother read was in high school (and I'm not even sure if he read whole or just skimmed it). I think if you'd count all books he read in his life it would still be lower than my yearly number. Now how many are there like him? I know at least 80% of my family would fall in that group.
I think I heard few years ago that on average adult Croatian reads 4 books per year. They do buy books (because they started selling some titles cheaper, like 1/4 of full book price), but most of them never read it. *shakes head*
When librarian told me that number (about 1 book) I asked her how come they didn't ask me how much I read. I'd make stats look much better :P
I'd like to point out we don't have second hand books here, no ebooks (at least to buy - and selection for borrowing is too expensive and it's really slim). Those that do read in most cases use libraries.
Hmmm true!
I come from a family of bookworms, so it's hard for me to imagine people not reading at all.
Lol yes, they should definitely ask you next time they're making such a survey hehe.
4 books per year really isn't a lot, but I guess the people not reading far outweigh the people who do read (a lot).

I have always been surrounded by Reading. My Grandmother is big reader, which she is the main reason I enjoying reading as much as I do today. My dad is a fairly decent reader...he maybe does 2 a month.
My brother Jeremy loves, loves, loves epic fantasy, and my sister does about 3 to 4 a month.
Of course I have passed my reading bug to my Daughter, she does about one a week.
However my husband has read 4 books in the 14 years we have been married.
I guess since I grew up with so many readers, its super hard to come to terms the average person only doing 9.

ooh nice!I'm going to have a scoot around our books and see if i can get some of them to fill other tasks -
All books read will be used but may be placed in other places than originally put.
Sounds good! And definitely useful hehe. We need to get some leveling done for our poor little hero after all. ;-)
YAY!!! Those are good ones!Almost done with a series #2 book and have a series #3 in progress.
Should my next book be series or should I switch to task? (where are we most lacking?)
i would say card #2 the scavenger hunt, it should be pretty easy to get but it gives us 20 gold so it will be good to buy some more stuff, also card #5 only needs 3 tasks but gives us good stuff
If I remove Blood Cross from the #2 spot it is currently occupying, it could be used for "gold" in the scavenger hunt.
Maybe other words, too, but I'd have to make a search first. I know gold is in there for sure.

BTW, what happened to my R book? It disappeared."
It got used for a different card. V was switching things around earlier to get us a new card.

When you are on the page of the book, look at the link on top. You'll see at the very end the title of the book and just before the title is a series of numbers. That's the ID number. It changes with every edition.
The official spreadsheet picks the ID number off the books we have on our Wobble shelves along with the rest of the information like title, author and page number.

So I don't need to put that in?
Finished Into the Hollow. Will update spreadsheet, book read thread tomorrow. I'm knackered and really really need my bed.
G'night team! :-)

OMG. I just got home from work, and can't find my Kindle, I must have left it at my desk....I hate the mobile app...busy it is all I got for now...
The good thing is that I have the Fire phone, so it is all hooked together, all my audio and regular books I can pull up on my phone! It just feels weird to not have my Kindle with me.
I am almost done with my BONES book, and I also started a book with bones on the cover...I think I should get both done tonight....fingers crossed!
Good luck, Abbie!!I went on a scavenger spree for card 2. I read a book for Paper and Bowl and nearly finished with a book for Ink.
Still have one in progress for fabric...
I'm definitely on the downhill slide towards bed though. Soooooo very tired!
Whoo hoo, go K!I'm playing catch up now, I have a shorter book for GOLD, so I'll add that and probably get to bed early :)
