Abbie wrote: "Now I am wonder what "quick jobs" barbie did to earn some intant cash!"I don't know. She was answering adds so it was different each time. ;)
What is super funny is when my sister and I were kids, our parents wounldnt buy us Ken, so we took one Barbie, cut off its hair, and dress her in skimpy cloths, and Named her Town Slut Barbie!

Yay for Tamika's Mojo!!!
LOL. Thanks ladies, between the burglary, family problems, and this damn diet. I feel like a different person. It could be that I haven't had carbs, or sugar in a month.

Its all right, we all know life can drag you down.
At least you sticking to that diet! Good for you!
Yeah it did. It was a combination of a lot of things as well. I am glad though that I'm feeling better. Thanks hun!
FYI , I do have a but load of Audio I just got...it seems I got them all at once, so most if them will have to be banked as they are not series, but I am trying to look for a series on audio I might be able to get, so I can listen to it in between to help out more.
Eldarwen wrote: "Wow, that is impressive, Tamika!! I wouldn't manage a month without sugar!!"It's not easy to manage at all. Sure I've had slip ups. Only two turtles instead of the entire book. Only 1 chocolate chip chunky cookie instead of the entire sleeve. I've been replacing those with fruits. Lots of stupid good for you fruit.
V Nerd wrote: "woah i go away for a couple of hours and the thread goes crazy!!"That is why you are not suppose to go away.
I'm impressed T - so awesome!! You motivated me to workout more so am thankful for that bc I was becoming quite the slug. I bow to you in the sugar thing. Next thing I know, you're gonna tell me you gave up caffeine... nooooooooooooooooooooo
Totally cracking up on Barbie discussion!! You guys are hilarious!
Glad your reading mojo is back, T!
K~Terror wrote: "I'm impressed T - so awesome!! You motivated me to workout more so am thankful for that bc I was becoming quite the slug. I bow to you in the sugar thing. Next thing I know, you're gonna tell me yo..."Ummm. I don't drink caffeine either. No pop, sugar, juice.
I don't drink coffee, ever.
I've only drunk water for the entire month.
I had a glass of wine for dinner a couple times, but other wise just water.
That hasn't really bothered me. My face is clearer.
I have never drunk coffee, except for one time to try and I did not like it. So I'm coffee free. The only time my body gets caffeine is when I drink a coke, which is a rare occurrence, or when I take a headache pill which weirdly enough has caffeine in it.
But really, that is impressive, T! To stick it out like that, despite everything. Absolutely way to go!! Keep it up!! :-)

LOL. Yeah, I just never got into the coffee moment. Every cup I've ever had was more creamer then coffee. I like the flavors. It's hard but the water doesn't bother me. I drink 64oz of water a day. I feel like an elder person having to pee all the damn time though.
Hmmm that's a good amount though, or so they say. It's what I usually drink in a day as well, and have for years.
The peeing.. well.. your bladder gets used to it at some point ;-)

I drink about that in water... but then also drink about that much in coffee... :(It worked for me too V!
Thanks E!Sorry to make you work so much today...I just have a "free" day today. I will be taking my run here in a bit, but besided that I plan to stay glued to my kindle.
Hi, everyone! I'm back from my son's wedding...exhausted and even more so since I read all the messages I missed...So right now, as I'm reading series books, I put them into the new ss? And I do have one that was finished on 10/6 that I don't think ended up on a ss...so do I just add that to the banked ss?
i think i may have got that one Karen if not then pop it into the page that we can sell for gold as only books finished after Labours can be used for Emerge

Welcome back, Karen! I can only second what the ladies have already said and asked!
Hope you had a good time!! :-)

No worries, Abbie! :-)
It's nice to have free days like that!
I was cleaning and nursing a headache, and now I'm doing some NaNo prep, but I'll soon head to bed for some quality reading time! I need it now and my book is calling to me, really quite loud by now.

I'll check it out, V. I have a #3 that I will be reading next. I'll put it on the ss. I'm finishing up a #11 so I guess that won't count. Thanks, everyone. We had a fantastic time. The wedding and reception were beautiful. Everyone drank, ate and had a great time. My new DIL did a fantastic job. I'm so exhausted I fell asleep reading my book this afternoon...lol.
I looked up the ss for trading for gold and I don't see it, V.
I'll put it in the Read Book thread as I don't see how I can add it, if that's ok.
yes thats no problem Karen, we can move things around if needed. You can also do an 11, i think there has been more spaces added to the ss so add away lol
Yup, I added a level 11 and 12 yesterday for our ambitious speed readers :-)
Love seeing the spreadsheet filling up nice and quick!!
Emerge will start in a few hours, btw!
