Did you read Dracula ST?It showed up pretty high on listopia list of books in rural settings...
According to the SS, Buckland in the vale is banked, we'll one of the mc lived on a farm.
I just checked and it looks like it was banked before this leg of the challenge so we can't use it until after this one... I did find another book that I have that is on the list and is a short one to read - could probably squeeze it in too if we don't come across anything...
I wasn't in the mood for Dracula, so I ended up not reading it. I think I'm worried about my high expectations!
I'm almost done with my relay book, so I could probably pick up farm book :)

I actually had it locked and loaded on my phone to read sometime but just didn't realize it was a farm book.
I have Harmony to read next and I'm not sure how tomorrow will go so maybe between the two of us, we'll get it covered!

Evety few years my reading taste change...there was a phase where I use to love romance, believe it or not...I was in my early 20's, I didn't know better yet...lol

Tastes change over the years, I guess. I still love fantasy though! But I'm changing it up more with other things these days, so maybe that's why I still enjoy it as much as before.
I know right?I still have a few, that were my favorite s that I couldnt give away, but they have been put on the back shelf.
Once you all hear from LaurLa, let me know what she cant finished.I am going to look for a pink dress and yellow dress book, so I can help out once I finish my western. Just pm me though, so I don't miss it. I am hoping to be done with the western befoe lunch, and can hopefully get one more in before countdown.

I said I would read the relay book and the yellow dress. The relay book is only 131 pp. I can finish both by the deadline.

I can.start the pink one In a bit K-Terror...no worries. I got one download. I am glad it was the pink! the only yellow I could find was Romance, but I would have taken it for the team.

lol...I was going to do Russian Roulette if You didn't hop on before I finished my current book...I would have read the pink one! I guess my instincts were spot on.

I'll be done with the horse book tonight - work is somewhat demanding today so I don't have time to really read during the day. But a few paragraphs here and there from time to time is still progress hehe.
Okay, I finished the Western, staring Pink Dress book.
Now that my "western" is done, and it is submitted, I can complain!!!My 298 Western tags make it a western.
So the book was not bad...not great either, but not bad. My complaint however is who are the 298 idiotic people that tagged it Western???
First of all, it was NOT a western, historical yes....but I would label it more Colonial.
First off it was set in 1600....Westerns are typically set between 1800-1900
Second of all it was set in England...westerns usually resonate with America...in the "old west"
Third it was about a sailor...westerns are usually gun fighters, cowboys, ranchers, ect..
Maybe its just me, but what do you all consider a Western?
