Wow, nice!!

I have about 100 pages left to go in Turn Coat, then the fairy square will be done, too.

message 5207: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria | 149 comments Ooh would The Nightingale work for N then?

message 5208: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
Should be?

I am currently reading Night Study as well but I'd still have to read 300+ pages before tomorrow and... well... not so sure I'll manage that.

I'll see if I can find something shorter if nobody else has something.

Alexandria wrote: "Ooh would The Nightingale work for N then?"

Yup it would!

message 5210: by Ghost in the Stacks (new)

Ghost in the Stacks so no N then?

Player, I cannot do.....It's all half naked men on covers, which means is more up V Nerds alley

message 5211: by K~Terror (last edited Sep 09, 2016 11:29AM) (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Abbie - What about Ready Player One by Ernest Cline ?

Have you read?

The only other one I've read is in your naked cover category... LOL! It's only 200 pages if anyone is interested:
Tempting the Player (Gamble Brothers, #2) by J. Lynn

message 5212: by Ghost in the Stacks (new)

Ghost in the Stacks I have read Ready Player one, I thought about doing it again, but I will only be able to finish if I had it as audio, as I am overtime. My library has holds on it, so there isn't anyway I can download the audio before Bingo is over.

No worries - It IS a long one!

Although I checked and see I have the audio if you want me to send it to you? I think I can send one to you for free?

message 5214: by Ghost in the Stacks (new)

Ghost in the Stacks On what app? I use Overdrive

message 5215: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments audible

message 5216: by Ghost in the Stacks (new)

Ghost in the Stacks That's okay. thanks though, I don't use audible

message 5217: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments No worries!

Jessica | 296 comments K~Terror wrote: "Finished "Chasing SPRING" and starting "We HAVE Always Lived in the Castle".

It's a 5 hour audio. WooHoo!"

I want to know what you think of We Have Always Lived in the Castle when you are finished. I read mixed reviews prior to reading it; and now I see why. I do like that the cat is named Jonas (that is my son's name). LOL!

message 5220: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments I was glad I read some of the reviews because it lowered the bar going in. I really thought it would have been creepier!

I wanted to smack the towns people. Rude!

I still have a little bit to go...

What did you think?

message 5221: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments At least is had a good cat name going for it! ;)

Heading to bed with Tempting the Player (Gamble Brothers, #2) by J. Lynn now. Seems to be a quick read so I might get a decent chunk read before I fall asleep ;-)
The rest tomorrow morning!

Have the Countdown again as a reminder:

Countdown to End of Bingo

Labors of Bookules will start at 11pm London time tomorrow. 12 hours after the end of Bingo.

message 5224: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Back from school craziness. We only have 3 spots to go!
SOOOO AWESOME!!!!!!

message 5225: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
Tamika finished her two, so only one spot left to go!!

I'll be reading as quickly as possible, I am almost half-way through already :-)

And then I'll request a new card before the deadline so we can hopefully fill it up as much as possible with books from the bank.

After that, you can all take a break until the next event :-)

message 5226: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
TAMIKA, I hope you're still around, because we need your Man book on your Wobble shelf, please!!

message 5227: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
Isn't this typical? I finish my book on time but then am stuck on the phone haha.

message 5228: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
BINGO is officially over and we did well, ladies!! :-)

We'll put the last two remaining books onto the card as soon as they're on the shelves. Since they're done, just not on the shelf/spreadsheet yet (sometimes it takes a while for the spreadsheet to pick them off the shelves), there's nothing to worry about. (We have 12 hours to finalise everything anyway.)

Labors of Bookules is going to be postponed a little, so we have a bit of down time now. The rules for the new event will be posted into the main group in a few hours so you'll have some time to look them over before the event will officially start.

message 5229: by VNerdbooks (new)

VNerdbooks (v_nerdbooks) | 5108 comments Whoop well done team, we did awesome.

If you are reading a book now it may be wise to slow it down a bit until the new game starts otherwise we won't be able to use them, there is no rush to finish anything now until the new game starts, put your feet up and have a cup of tea ;○)

message 5235: by Ghost in the Stacks (new)

Ghost in the Stacks WE are going to be able to use our banked books right?

message 5236: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
Yes, we will be able to use banked books. But not in Labors of Bookules. The banked books we had for Bingo will be put aside for the last event.

Books finished between Bingo and Labors of Bookules can be used for Labors of Bookules.

message 5237: by Ghost in the Stacks (new)

Ghost in the Stacks oh...why was I thinking this was the last game?

message 5238: by K~Terror (new)

message 5243: by LaurLa (new)

message 5244: by VNerdbooks (new)

VNerdbooks (v_nerdbooks) | 5108 comments Lol I know

message 5245: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
Nah, I don't think it'll be all that complicated. It'll just be a question of getting a little organised. Like practically every event since the start of Wobble.

message 5246: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
I just hope that the rules are going to be public soon so everyone can read through them in peace before the event starts.

The Countdown for the start of Labors of Bookules says that it should start in 1 1/2 hour. This is not the case. It will start 12 hours later than it was supposed to.

So Labors of Bookules will start tomorrow at 11am London time, which is 13 1/2 hours from now.

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ | 1422 comments Why the change?

message 5248: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
The mods needed to tweak a few things in the rules. And spreadsheet stuff.

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ | 1422 comments Oh okay!! Well, I can finish my book.

message 5250: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13759 comments Mod
