I introduced the series to a friend a week ago and she finished it already. It's apparently a but addicting.

Nothing for colour bonus :(
The cover has some black on it, but it is part of a peacock feather (I think) so doesn't qualify :(

This is the first book in a series and I loved it! Off to start the next book in the series :)

The bonuses are good for the entire Wobble, as far as I understand, but there's no way to know what (if any) bonuses will be available going forward. So I'm thinking we can use them when they make sense and not worry if we have a couple left over. Always open to ideas, though! :)

Awesome work! We should go down to just one color bonus after we turn in the word so this should be the only gray/grey we need. :)

Not sure you're looking at the right book. There are only 3 editions and all are ebooks. ??

message 2628: by Kazen (new)

Kazen

We've completed KINGDOM once and got rid of the icky grey in the title color bonus, yea! The question now is - what would you guys like to do now? We have two options:

1 - Keep going with Kingdom. Pro: only one color bonus, and an easy one at that. Con: there are better words out there.

2 - Spin for a new word. Pro: new word! Con: two color bonuses instead of one, may get a worse word.

There also seems to be some interest in doing the four books at 600+ pages boast. Brianna is reading one now, Rose is planning to read one, and I think Ella? said she'd be interested, too. So if reading a long book makes you happy, go for it! We can set them aside until we get the four we need, and if it doesn't happen I'm sure the books will be useful elsewhere.

So thoughts, ideas... let's hear 'em! :)

So, I thought I'd check my elibrary, for comparison's sake and then it all went pear-shaped.

"Did you mean seaman acquire?"
No. No, I did not.

message 2633: by Ray (user2637) (new)

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Spin for a new word!!!! 2/3 chance it'll be shorter, and I'm still holding out hope for 'tapirs'.

We could use a prize to respin without getting another color bonus too. Or wait until we get them and then change the color or location of the task using a prize then. Lots of options there.

Also, there're 3 prizes that get us extra books (1 from Travel Agent, 1 from another team, 1 just a book used twice on a word) -- so we could always use one of those to finish the 600 page task. It's like trading a prize for a prize, but feels good to check things off. :)

Kazen So! You guys remember that our refrigerator died? Delivery scheduled for today, yea. Scheduled 8-12, can't come until 1, whatever. They take out the old fridge, pop in the new one, and the delivery guys go,

"Wait a minute. Look at that scratch on the front."
"It's not a scratch, it's from pressure. Like a sharp edge of some sort."
"That wasn't us, was it?"
"No, couldn't be."

"Customer! We're so sorry but the refrigerator came this way. The service center will be calling you shortly. Be sure to tell them that we weren't the ones that broke it, okay? It was in the box like that. Thanks!"

So.... we still don't have a refrigerator. :P Replacement coming tonight. Nothing like a little excitement, right? ;)

Don't be jinxing it now ;) I would be tempted to just keep the dishwasher, but we don't even have a place to set it up. Oh! The fridge can go on top of the dishwasher! That could totally work. ~nodnod~
