Hello everyone!
The Wheelathon is rolling along! (Har.) The spreadsheet is finally caught up so I'm hoping to get some quality time with it tomorrow to submit our word at least three times before pulling a new one. :)
The new word we get will only have one color bonus, yea! So if it's a stinker we can spin for another new word after doing it only once. And if we like it hey, we like it! :D

Don't get me started on dogs! I love them and your dog is so cute. We have 3 dogs and a cat. And were so tempted to get a 4th and maybe even some bunnies.

Matt only lives 3 blocks away and is our DM for D&D so sometimes I get him to bring his other dog, Darby. He just got Hashie-B 2 weeks ago so I begged him to bring her! Though, yes, I do want to steal her and am plotting that. Problem is Matt's fiancée won't let me & one of my housemates somehow hates dogs. (I don't understand how!). So alas Hashbrown will only visit sometimes. I did offer free pup-sitting though!
I get it about leaving companion animals alone -- it's sad for them. I can't work atm so a little fuzz ball would get lots of my attention. Been seriously considering a pair of chinchillas.

Right! And so mellow for a Chi mix. She didn't bark at tiny noises, she didn't run around incessantly. She cuddled all of us and gave kisses. She did beg a bit for our pizza but at 5 months old, there's time to discourage that. Totally the best tiny dog I've met!
How's Annie doing? Does she have any fur-siblings??
Also, um, things about reading *cough*cough*. Yeah...still plodding through Chocolat. I should get credit for reading a French dictionary too! Found another Mod-read book as well, very short. Still sick from rx withdrawal so planning on sleeping/reading all day.

We seem to be the perfect group. I am super allergic to Cats as well. Can only be in a house with one about 30 mins then my chest starts to tighten up.
Annie is doing great! She definitely got over her shyness and is giving her "big brother" Pippin a run for his money. LOL He is an 8 year old dachshund we also got as a puppy. I just adore dachshunds! Here is a link to a photo of both of them, sorry I can not figure out how to post images here.

I didn't meet my partner's sister (who lives 20 mins away) for 4 years because she was a smoker (and had cats). My allergies got majorly worse about 11 years ago and it's so limiting. :( I need one if those bubbles to live in, truly.

Linking up to the cat conversation - I feel lucky that I'm only mildly allergic. I have to rinse my hands after I pet Suzu (because I will touch my face) but it's a small price to pay. Yep he is a chocolate dapple with one blue eye and one brown. He is starting to be pretty gray now but his dapples use to really stand out. He is definitely a conversation starter when we go places! Most people don't know what a dapple is. Also Pippin is definitely my all time favorite Musical. My Partner's girls chose Annie because they liked the name but I do love that it is also a Broadway show and she has red hair *grin just like Annie did.
@Kazen - as a child I was allergic to all animals! Thank goodness I at least grew out of my dog allergy, I could not imagine my life with out them!

We actually rescued her from a park where a group of strays would congregate. My husband would visit often, calling her "cat" ("neko" in Japanese). To this day she answers better to Neko than Suzu! Hehe.
