lol! They look like the walking club that Debra and I meet with every Thursday. Hey, that's today! Better get ready to go.
See you all in a couple of hours.
I just finished Like Water for Chocolate. I quite enjoyed it. Now I'll be moving on to my 5th book and still don't know what I want to read. I'll probably spend the evening reading on the balcony with a nice glass of wine once the kids are in bed. So probably something light. Can't wait...
Finished The Alchemist for Phil Rickman, fantasy.Starting A Morbid Taste for Bones for Pat Harrington Jr and Ken Howard, cozy mystery.
Debra wrote: "Starting A Morbid Taste for Bones for Pat Harrington Jr and Ken Howard, cozy mystery."Yay!! I'm reading 'A Morbid Taste for Bones' too...!
How did you like The Alchemist ?
Almeta wrote: "lol! They look like the walking club that Debra and I meet with..."I hope you only look like this after the walk ; )
Those penguins walk like they have blisters...
Annerlee, I really liked The Alchemist. It read like a inspirational fable. Now, if I could only learn to live in the moment, not worrying about the future and dwelling on the past.
I have finished my fourth book, A Single Man. I liked it but it wasn't quite as good as I thought it was going to be. I gave it 3 stars.I will attempt to squeeze in a fifth book before the toppler ends. Now I just need to decide what book to choose...

I am hoping to get to that one today.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm sure you'll like it...
I just finished my Miss Marple book and am starting Like Water for Chocolate next. I have started it before, but never finished it. I think I only got three or four chapters into it before I put it aside. I have it on my Geo Challenge for Mexico, but have been reading other books.
Debra wrote: "Annerlee, I really liked The Alchemist. It read like a inspirational fable. Now, if I could only learn to live in the moment, not worrying about the future and dwelling on the past."'only'.... ? such a big word with only 4 letters ; )
I decided to read War Horse next. I am halfway through so I should easily get it finished tomorrow. Great job today team, as always! What stars you all are! :)
Goodnight everyone!

Good morning! How is everyone? I've started The Crow Girl yesterday and it kept me until I fell asleep long after midnight. I hope to finish it today so it will count for the toppler.
Have a great day!

I also read it for the geocaching challenge, I'm not sure if I would have started it otherwise, but it somehow has its own magic to it.
Just finished The Crow Girl. Couldn't put it down and I still have goosebumps.I'm starting my last book for the toppler and hope I'll finish it by tomorrow.
Debra wrote: "Still reading A Morbid Taste for Bones. It's really quite good. Should finish it today."I finished it this morning (2 a.m.) I couldn't put it down and turn out the lights.
I have just finished War Horse. I love the play, I love the film and now I love the book too. I gave it 5 stars.I'm not going to have much time for reading tonight or tomorrow so I think that will be it for me for this toppler. Five books is the most I have ever read in a week though, so I am really pleased with that :)
I am sure I can finish Like Water for Chocolate for my 5th book. I am not sure I can also finish my audio book and one other that I had started. We'll see.
I've just finished Die Again. That makes it six books in a week now which I never thought I would read. I'm wishing all of you a happy weekend, I had so much fun toppling with you!
Hey Forget-Me-Nots.Everyone has done an outstanding job!! Almeta and Anna, I have no idea how you both read so much, but I am definitely in awe :-)
I managed to read 4 books this week...I haven't read 4 books in a week since back in 2013. I forgot how much Toppler's entice me to read more (how could I have forgot that?!)
I won't be squeezing in an another read before this ends. Almeta thank you for the wonderful minion pictures; they are truly awesome and always brought a smile to my face and even a couple of laugh out loud moments. Lisa thanks for all the great cheerleading!

I think we did pretty well folks :-)

Hey look Almeta, I found a minion; look what you got me doing, lol!
Finished A Morbid Taste for Bones for Pat Harrington Jr and Ken Howard, cozy mystery. Also, The BFG for Phil Rickman, fantasy.
That's it for me. Great toppler everyone!
Just finishing up the last two....I finished A Morbid Taste for Bones this morning... refused to get up until it was finished. It was an easy ok read... I think the series may get better now that characters have been introduced.
Going to run and finish the last few pages of my final book...
bye for now..
I couldn't finish Imaginary Jesus or Leonard last night. I crashed about 2:30am. I am glad I finished 5.
Some of you really outdid yourselves! Everyone did a great job! Go team!Janice, I thought you'd enjoy Brother Cadfael. Nice cozy mystery. One of the better ones, I think.
An amazing job has been done by all!
I have really enjoyed this toppler and have loved being a part of this team :)
This was my first toppler back since 2013 (maybe 2014?) and I'm so glad I decided to sign up for it! You all made it so nice! :-)
Cathie wrote: "This was my first toppler back since 2013 (maybe 2014?) and I'm so glad I decided to sign up for it! You all made it so nice! :-)"I'm glad you enjoyed it, Cathie! It was good to have you on our team :)
