What were your least favorite books of the Spring 2016 Challenge? Which books didn't meet your expectations?

Deborah | 1668 comments I always feel bad when I don't enjoy a book.

Jazz (Toni Morrison Trilogy, #2) by Toni Morrison I might give it another try later

Bianca Rose (biancarose) | 245 comments The Mysterious Flame Of Queen Loana: An Illustrated Novel - I hated this book. It was so awful that I had to skim through the second half of it to get through it.

The War of the Worlds. One of my goals is to read more classic literature but I absolutely hated this book too.

Kaity | 358 comments I had four two star books this season and one one starrer.

Corruption: A Very Short Introduction - My lonely one star book. Other than what I read in the news, I'm not especially familiar with the topic. Unfortunately this book was written like a text book for someone who was nearing exams and just needed a refresher. Dry and over my head.

Allegiant - ....I still don't want to talk about it.

Between the World and Me - I read for pleasure and obviously this is not a 'for pleasure' book. Not my cup of tea. Wish it had been around while I was in school though! Definitely worth reading and discussing.

Corruption A Very Short Introduction by Leslie Holmes The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro

Donna | 1271 comments I only had two 1-star books:

Leopard's Prey - ughhh, is all I have to say.

The End of The Road - the audio was loaded with so many mispronounced words...it was painful.

I had five 2-star books, which unfortunately included:

The Scorch Trials - I liked the first one in this series, but not the second one.
