Maybe that is partly why it is considered a book with a (or more than a) unreliable narrator.

I've never read anything from this author before and it's not the type of book I would have just picked up but one of my book clubs is reading it. I'm listening to the audio book and really like it. It's a little scary sometimes because I think Ove and I have some of the same idiosyncrasies lol

I know, they've been favorites of mine over the years but somehow I forgot Sue Grafton's series and really got behind. I got caught up with Janet Evanovich's when #22 came out so at least I'm up to date with Stephanie Plum but that means I have a few Kinsey Milhone to look forward to reading.

Teresa | 88 comments I've taken a break from Hawaii by James A. Michener and am reading New York to Dallas by J.D. Robb. I can't thank enough the people on this board who recommended this series. I love it. It has been a long time since I read a series that I don't need a break from after 3 or 4 books.

Read a couple of stories by Edgar Allan Poe yesterday, The Fall of the House of Usher and The Purloined Letter. Had read the latter story before, but not the first. Both were mentioned in a recent cozy read, Prose and Cons by Amanda Flower.

Right now I am reading An Angel’s Touch by Heather Graham, Toltec by Alex Walker, The Last Oracle by Christopher Hepworth. I also cross stitch and crochet. I have two baby puppies that take a lot of time and I am a part time minister.

Read this a few months back. Very mixed feelings about it. I grew up in Dayton, OH, and have lots of relatives in the Middletown area where Vance was raised. His background is very much mine, though I'm of his mother's generation, with my parents being of his Mamaw & Papaw's. Well written, I just found myself getting a certain "vibe" from it.
