I've also re-read a bunch of the Argeneau & a couple of Love at Stake but I didn't include it because it is not in my "so good" list, just my good list.
But you say, "But why the re-read then?" Baffled expression. Well... although the stories aren't the greatest, in fact they are usually quite simplistic, they hit my funny bone just right. At least some of the books do. :-P
Since humor is so subjective, I sometimes don't recommend them at all to certain people. A Quick Bite had me laughing so hard, I cried, yet... the majority of my Goodreads friends rate it 3 stars, there are a couple of 2 and 1 stars and a lot of 5, not many 4. So it either hits the funny bone or it is good to not so good. I read the series so out of order though also.

I don't re-read books. Thought I did read the Lizzie & Diesel series, then audiobook it. Mainly because it took the author 4 years to come out with book 3 and I forgot everything
Norma,
that is the main reason i have re read so many books. i tend to read what has been released then the new one... then do it again when the next new one is released!
In a way i am impatient to just wait for them all to be released then read them. But i have enough patience to re read them all!!.... i never said i was consistent!
Amy,
i love the funny vampire books. so many books are just too serious! however the argeneau seems to be one of those series, you can read out of sequence yet still catch up on the continuing story.

My memory isn't great with books, especially the nuances and jokes, so re-reading is great to "discover" the book again, especially after several books/years between. Also since I don't remember them well, except usually the main plot... somewhat, I can guarantee myself a good read. :-) After a bunch of so/so and not even so/so reads, a good re-read comes in handy to get me back into the spirit.
Many of the last number of Argeneau have only been so/so for me. So the whole series would definitely not be a re-read but my favorites have been re-read, Accidental, & Quick.

Chelsea Quinn Yarbro
Clay Griffith
Anne Rice
I've thought about re-reading the Vampire Empire books, especially since they came out with the 4th and I don't remember well the nuances. I have the book ready to read but might have to reread first. It was good enough but does drag at points. The first 1/2 almost of the first book and during the front lines scenes. I still can remember those drags. I might skim those parts on re-read though I dislike skimming even on re-read. I feel like I'm going to miss something important.
OK, I have to put in a historical romance book here as I've re-read it plenty. It might not be paranormal but it is written by a great PNR writer.
by Kresley Cole
I love Maddie.

I love Maddie.
I've reread some of the first J.R. Ward's BDB books, first 6 even 8. Since Torment's book though, I barely can read one time. I loved Zadist's book.

The Dark in You (Suzanne Wright)
Deep in your Veins (Suzanne Wright)
The Three (Kristen Ashley)
Sin (Jenna Maclaine)
Mercy Thompson (Patricia Briggs)
Chicagoland Vampires (Chloe Neill)
BDB (JR Ward)
Psy Changelings (Nalini Singh)
Jane Yellowrock (Faith Hunter)
Archangel (Nalini Singh)
Kate Daniels (Ilona Andrews)
The Others (Christine Warren)
Vampires in America (DB Reynolds)
these would be my fave pnr & uf rereads but there are plenty of others. there are some really brilliant authors out there
ooh Jane yellorock.... I was very lucky to get an ARC of the next one... now I have to frantically re read the series so I know what's going on!!!! excellent list deb.

ooh, lucky girl!!

I have read the true blood ones and loved them.
I've also read virtually all of the shade books by Bella Forrest.
I've read all of Gayla Twist vampire books and Kaitlyn Davis, T Michelle Nelson, Erica Stevens, Arlene Charles, most of Tim o'Rourke and a few of Martha woods.
I am open to suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
:-)

Diana have you listened to the audio books of them(Black daggar series) yet? I was wondering what they are like

Hi Adele, no I have never listened to BDB audio books. I've heard rather mixed reviews from those who have. Some don't like the reader and others are confused by the pronunciation of some words or names which are unique to the series, like "Primale".
BDB narrator: He is one of the slowest reader that I've ever listened to. When I did a re-read of some of the first books, I listened instead of reading. He is OK but I have to speed it up to at least x1.7 speed because he takes super large pauses. I've re-read some of them to get the full story before reading John's story. I love the beginning but they've been hit or miss since then for me. It is mainly because she just has too many plot lines going on that run throughout each book. The last I read was Lover at Last.
Hey Norma, glad to see you around. School must me taking all the reading time.
Yes, BDB comes in audio! The guys voice is OK but he is one of the slowest readers ever! My library has them in digital Overdrive and some CDs. It is popular.

Deep in your Veins - Suzanne Wright
Black Dagger Brotherhood - J.R Ward
Night Huntress - Jeaniene Frost
Charley Davidson - Darynda Jones
Archangel - Nalini Singh
There are probably lots more but can't remember them all at the moment. Plus need to get back to work now. See you all later.

Maryland Overdrive, digital consortium. I have cards from several counties which carry different books sometimes. One of the counties is with Hoopla but they don't carry BDB for that library.

OK, I just re-read
Hidden Legacy and loved it! It will definitely go on my re-reads list though right now it is only a trilogy.

Amy, you have opened up my world..... you see up until now i have been complaining of my crappy library. there are 4 or 5 in my council area (i assume it could be also called county) each of them have a different level of crappiness, don't get me wrong the buildings and the books are awesome.
but as a series reader they only seem to have one or two books in a series (never a complete series) and if they have attempted to complete the series its usually book 1, 2, 3, 5, 6,10.... yes that's a few books but i'm constantly asking myself where are the books in between. they don't exist in the catalogue or in other libraries within the council. hence the label of crappy library (and it pains me to even call it that. they have built 3 new libraries in my life and the facilities there are top notch (free wifi, USB ports everywhere, and other cool mod cons). but they never updated their book selection!!
Anyway your comment about several counties made me wonder if i could do something similar....and i can! i'm so excited !!! but this opens up the overdrive/borrow box (and whatever else) catalogues for me...i'm so excited.

How are your Mass libraries? I would think they are pretty good. You would either have to have a Maryland address, D.C. address or a couple of the Virginia counties that work with us as an address, or work in Maryland. They are pretty liberal but not all encompassing. A couple of the Virginia counties will give me cards too but I haven't gone over to apply. I have problems keeping track of all the sign-ins I already have.
I'm so glad you looked to districs nearby and found you could get into other library systems, Adele. That's great, I hope it works for you. For my daughter's Warrior Cat books, I found the libraries wouldn't have the whole series but if I looked into the other libraries, I would find the missing books. I found the whole series for her but she is only up to the 14th. I have still ended up buying several of them in book form because when she went to camps in the summer she could not take electronics. Lots of camps don't allow electronics.

@Dash fan
I totally missed your question and so sorry. I have a friend that is so into the Bella Forest vampire series. I haven't started it yet but have it on my TBR.
If you are looking for strictly vampire books...
for a fun read series
for more serious but sexy
have angels and vampires and the later ones with vampires are some of my favorite.
is good (not my favorite though) and has some great characters. Mainly UF not PNR
is UF with a great sexy time couple.
has a lot of vampires but some books don't. Very fun series after the first novella and novel. You could start with No Rest for the Wicked, which is one of my favorite of the series. Very fun.
Of these I've only reread the last two series so far.

Amy, MA libraries are ok.. I live in Central MA, so I have a large CW Mars system, but I like audio more since that is the only way I am reading right now with school, and it seems quite limited. Example: Anita Blake. I read book one, but I audioed books 2-6.. Now I cannot find 6 in audio and I do not have time to read it. Sad FACE!
That is really it.
That is really it.
You know I put Demonica on this list but had never reread it. Now I've reread the first and know I'll go through the whole series and it was definitely worth the reread. And I forgot to put the erotic PNR of New Species of Laurann Dohner, which I go to some of those books when I'm in the mood. The Imp Series of Debra Dunbar is a newish favorite and I did a reread with a group. I'll definitely do it again as it is so fun to read. And from above I've already reread Hidden Legacy too.So here are some add ins

(first 3 over & over)
And certain books of Argeneau's by Lynsay Sands but only from the first 14 books. Since the first 1/2 of the series I haven't really love it anymore.
