thank you!

I just added this quote, but I'd like it to be attributed and linked to my novel, Unveiling Ghosts. Thank you xx

Here is the quote in question:
"Enjoy the little things in life because one day you`ll look back and realize they were the big things."
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/4713...
Here is the actual quote and Robert Brault's blog post on the subject:
"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
http://rbrault.blogspot.com/p/who-wro...
Here is where it is listed on Goodreads already, correctly attributed to Robert Brault:

And the edit should be with the word 'make' here ---> ...two plus two makes four....which means it should be 'makes' in stead of 'make'
This should be the edited version : In the life of mathematics two plus two makes four; but in the mathematics of life two and two can make five or even three sometimes

“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.”

This is not a quote by Victor Hugo but actually by Herbert Kretzmer who wrote the lyrics of the musical.
Thank you in advance.

Also, is it possible to merge quotes? I found the same quote posted twice more, though with varying typos...

Very beautiful situations have developed using chaos as part of the enlightened approach. There is chaos of all times developing all the time: psychological disorder, social disorder, metaphysical disorder, or physical disorder, constantly happening. If you are trying to stop those situations, you are looking for external means of liberating yourself, another answer. But if we are able to look into the basic situation, then chaos is the inspiration, confusion is the inspiration.
But it should be this:
Very beautiful situations have developed using chaos as part of the enlightened approach. There is chaos of all kinds developing all the time: psychological disorder, social disorder, metaphysical disorder, or physical disorder, constantly happening. If you are trying to stop those situations, you are looking for external means of liberating yourself, another answer. But if we are able to look into the basic situation, then chaos is the inspiration, confusion is the inspiration.
The 6th word of the second sentence should be "kinds" instead of "times".
Thanks

Can we make it:
When people call it [depression] I always get pissed off because I always think depression sounds like you just get like really sad, you get quiet and melancholy and just like sit quietly by the window sighing or just lying around. A state of not caring about anything. A kind of blue kind of peaceful state … Well this - isn’t a state. This is a feeling. I feel it all over. In my arms and legs … All over. My head, throat, butt. In my stomach. It’s all over everywhere. I don’t know what to call it. It’s like I can’t get enough outside it to call it anything. It’s like horror more than sadness. It’s more like horror. It’s like something horrible is about to happen, the most horrible thing you can imagine – no, worse than you can imagine because there’s the feeling that there’s something you have to do right away to stop it but you don’t know what it is you have to do, and then it’s happening, too, the whole horrible time, it’s about to happen and also it’s happening, all at the same time. … Everything gets horrible. Everything you see gets ugly. Lurid is the word … That’s the right word for it. And everything sounds harsh, spiny and harsh-sounding, like every sound you hear all of a sudden has teeth. And smelling like I smell bad even after I just got out of the shower. It’s like what’s the point of washing if everything smells like I need another shower.
Please remove the last word "He" It is the beginning of the next sentence which isn't included in the quote. Perhaps a data entry error.

"They did not remember any actual flowers" should be "They did not resemble any actual flowers".

This is the correct spelling:
De är borta, vi kan inte såra dem längre, men vi släpar på minnet av dem och gör fasansfulla saker i deras namn, som om de vill att vi ska hämnas dem. Jag kan inte tala för alla döda, men jag vet att det inte var vad jag ville att du skulle göra när jag dog (s. 203).
It is the word "minnet" that I misspelled.

The quote comes from the book:
The Tombs of Atuan

Thank you for the help :)

This is the correct one:
När vi övat något blir våra handlingar starka och når djupt. När vi inte känner rätta kursen blir vi förvirrade. Går vilse, förslösar vårt arv.

Can someone delete the longest/oldest of these three quotes, please? I was able to delete it in 'my quotes' but not in the entire system. Thanks a lot!

There is a line break after "short" that is putting "haul" on the next line.
Thanks.

“I'll make you ashamed of the things you would do to please me.” and “Sometimes the best thing to do when its all gone to shit is flush.” Both are damaging to the authors professional status, come from unpublished novels, and do not meet the notability standards good reads has outlined. Please, please, please delete them.

Hi James - please only put a request in one thread.
Have any of your works been published & do any of the quotes listed come from them if so?

PS I apologize about the multiple thread issue.
None of my works have been published and the quotes listed are all from these unpublished novels.

"Zamykam oczy i widzę złote iskry. Czuję zapach jabłek. Branwen. Zapach piór sokoła siedzącego na mojej rękawicy, gdy wracam z łowów. Złote iskry. Widzę jej twarz. Widzę krzywiznę policzka, mały, lekko zadarty nos. Krągłość ramienia. Widzę ją… Noszę ją... Noszę ją na wewnętrznej stronie powiek."
(basically this just needs to have the enter space before the last sentence removed)

thank you in advance :3

It is the word "minnet" that I misspelled. Instead I wrote "minner" which is wrong.
Thanks.

This is the new text:
“Se o mundo pode se desenvolver, progredir, prosperar, ser melhorado ou, para usar um termo de cunho cristão, salvo, então não por religiões, mas por livres-pensadores, pessoas que não fogem da realidade e não são guiadas por superstições, e sim pela razão, pois é ela que gera a lucidez produtora de ideias coerentes e sensatas.”
