Please edit or correct or delete this quote. (part 5)

Done.
The options for the name of the book should appear after you type in the author name.
If this doesn't happen for you, you can report as a bug in the new help area or use the Contact Us link at the top of this group. :)

Here's the quote: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1008...
Thanks for your help!

When there are multiple authors with the same name, GR uses one or more extra spaces between first and last name in the author name. This Mark Lawrence has 2 spaces. Choosing the right author will show the book in the dropdown menu.
Unfortunately this is not obvious when adding a quote.

Thank you! Yes, I became aware of the extra spaces in the URL here: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/new?...
It's unfortunately not very user-friendly and I think it also creates more work for Goodreads Librarians..

You can suggest improvement to GR Support: https://www.goodreads.com/about/conta...
It's a quick fix for a Librarian, so don't worry about that. Thank you for reporting it.

... until then I already have another request 🙈 Could you please link this quote (https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1008...) to The Priory of the Orange Tree? I don't know what happened, but my selection was deleted upon adding the quote.

They are both wrong (The first one is obviously incorrect and The second one is like 7 quotes accidentally rolled into one)

Deeply appreciative,

Hello fellow librarians,
I can't find a single source if this quote really belongs to Yasar Kemal. Also, considering his syntax, it doesn't sound like something he'd write and the quote is too banal to be honest. I am sure that it is not his but I can't delete it since it has too many likes. But someone should be able to delete it.

#948 That was an unfortunate response. I have deleted it.

Been deleted by someone.

Could a Librarian please delete the first two iterations of the quote? (That would be the one about Lord of the Flies with *two* periods at the end by mistake, and the one that does NOT conclude with the additional sentence about reading being taboo and adult without breaking any rules.) Thanks!

"And it is very odd by those who see the changes--"
should be
"And it is very odd but those who see the changes--"
Thanks

This is a widely spread misquote of the line "What did my fingers do before they held him?" from "Three Women: A Poem for Three Voices". You can check the quote in google books.
And please add "The Collected Poems" as the source.
Thank you!

In paragraph 5, the second sentence needs a period at the end of it and not a comma.
In paragraph 5, the sixth sentence needs to read like this: "we got the take" instead of "we got to take".
Thank you!
