Hi Neither
It wouldn't have been intentionally ignored, but it looks like people have deleted some comments out of this thread, which makes the thread really difficult for librarians to follow. Sorry about that.
I will have to leave this I don't speak the language, but I didn't want you to feel ignored. :)

Thank you for the answer :)

It's better to combine/merge duplicate quotes, rather than deleting them. That way the likes are not lost.

“Não há prazer maior que ser um livre-pensador.”

Updated text:
“Se o nosso planeta pode ser consideravelmente melhorado, então não por religiosos, pessoas que anseiam por uma vida melhor num mundo imaginário, mas livres-pensadores, pessoas que não fogem da realidade e não são guiadas por superstições, e sim pela razão, pois é ela que gera a lucidez produtora de ideias coerentes e sensatas.”

The full quote is below with the correction at the end. Thanks!
“I climbed the wide stone steps to the museum and walked in. As soon as you are through the doors, the air changes. It is softer. The building has the ability to wrap itself around you, making you feel safe. All the animosity if the street is left outside, for everyone in there has come for the same reason. To be humbled by art.”
― Carrie Adams, The Godmother
It should be "All the animosity OF the street"

EDIT: I realized that it would probably be simpler to change the author to Peter Jackson than to remove the quotes entirely. Could you please edit these?

This quote has also been erroneously attributed to Tolkien. Could you please remove this?

Thank you!

The top quote is correct, the other 4 are the same quote with minor errors in them; could you please delete those? Thanks!

I accidentally picked the wrong book for this quote: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/9580...
It should be An Unquiet Mind: A Memoir of Moods and Madness.

https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7018...
That is not a quote by Gandalf from any part of the books, only from the movie. It is a paraphrasing of Frodo's vision of Valinor as well as his subsequent actual arrival there.
Thank you

Could you please remove this quote or change the author to Peter Jackson?
This is from the movie The Two Towers, and Tolkien never wrote it.
Thank you.

They are both falsely attributed to Tolkien himself, when in fact they are just slightly altered versions of a quote from the first Hobbit film. I don't want these lies to be spread any further. Thanks in advance! :)

I'm not an expert, but I have recently reread The Hobbit through The Two Towers and am a good chunk into RotK.
After some checking back through my edition of The Hobbit, I agree with TolkienFangirl that the following two quotes are misquotes from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), and NOT from any of Tolkien's written works. (The movie states 'Saruman believes,' not 'some believe')

https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7275...
However, both versions of the quote have accumulated many likes, so this would seem to require a superlibrarian.

I'm not a superlibrarian, so I can't delete them, but I did edit and attribute the quotes to Peter Jackson.

They are duplicated, and I'd like to change the author tag (apparently most are tagged with only "Cressida Cowell" and no author behind it)!
Thank you!

Thanks.

Added "The Skating Rink" to the quote.
It is not possible to add a different edition than the default edition to a quote.

This one has a sentence missing in it

I tried to delete but is still showing on the book's page. thanks
