I noticed that I always analyze the books I read and kind of over think and go deep in the reviewing process of the book. you can say I see the book in a whole other dimension (sometimes) or just simply like everyone else. I have been told by my friends that they enjoy reading my reviews on Goodreads or just asking me about my thoughts in the book since it's quite helpful insight on the book. and to simply admit I enjoyed writing reviews a lot. of course going back and reading my Goodreads reviews from 3-4 years ago I literally cringe or smile on it. anyways I always wanted to have my reviews read and enjoyed by many people and to have my own websites where people can go and check my reviews in order to either see if my opinion in the book is similar to their's or to check if the book based on my review worth picking it up immediately. and those two things I myself do by reading friend reviews and famous book tubers and book reviewers.
since I am now from the beginning of 2017 not as busy as previous years I got motivated to try and start making that dream come true.
so the first book I have read in 2017 is rebel belle Rebel Belle and for the first time I typed a long detailed review (it' 5-6 minutes reading not that long hopefully).
and before I do my own website I need to build a fan base or at least interested base ;) i am trying to make my reviews shorter in length with more pictures and graphics to attract readers and not be boring. Most of my reviews are spoiler free or with minimum spoilers that won't affect your reading experience if you know it. I recently , like today, completed reading WOUND WITHOUT SCAR by Mukul Thakur on Kindle. THe book explores emotional abuse in relationship. The setting is India. The subject is very sensitive, was apprehensive if it was worth the time. Was recommended by a colleague. Was quite surprised when finally read it. For a first timer - handling such an emotive topic, Mukul has done well. The story is an easy read, not too much jargaon or one would nt need to go back and back to a dictionary. The pace of the book also keeps you engaged. As a woman I could relate to Simran the central character and as an Indian woman completely relate to the expectation and pressures of the society on one and how that acts to force one to stay in a relationship even if its toxic.

My recommendation would be WOUND WITHOUT SCAR - eBook on Kindle. Just finished reading it. Its on emotional abuse in a relationship. Quite a sensitive topic. The story was an easy read and quite engaging. Something one can try for a weekend read.wound without scar
