I have a few buddy reads to do as well, there are a few more shorter books that I read throughout the week, but I'm struggling to find the notebook of thought :P

Woahhh. Even more to upload. I best up my game ;) haha. Uuh hate when that happens. I'm the same. I try to be super organised and write everything down but just end up losing all my lists!

That's why I post my reviews right away. Or I just write them on my phone and post them when I get home. I'm way too unorganized to do it any other way lol

I always did updates instead of reviews, since I just found those easier to do

That makes sense too. The only reason I haven't done that is because I do a lot of buddy reads, so it's just easier to do the review instead of saying the same thing is separate places

I've been reading the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy books for like a week now and I just finished the tenth novella, so rather than individually review them, I just reviewed them in bulk, I hope Sarah is okay with that D:

I have loads of small books that I might blast as well :) They won't be a lot of pages but every little helps and all, I start work at 7am in the morning so I'll read the lovely bones then I'll go to sleep I think

I just finished a book, and I'm starting a 7 book series that's basically a page farm, and have another 4 book series I want to finish, and two stand alone books :) so overall, tons left for me to read and turn in!

Two of my BRs are long ones, both are GoT books! I'm going to read some Manga books on the bus to work in the morning, because I'm not driving so they'll come in handy too ^.^

Is it bad that I feel this whole issue with review dumps is aimed at me? I think I've done the biggest review dump this month, somebody said it led to 5,000 pages and when I finished posting my reviews, my total was 5,000.

I'm gonna finish a big GoT book tonight, there's an edition with 1,808 pages ^.^

I think people are probably thinking of you, but I also tried to indirectly speak up for you, since you had a reason for doing so! They probably just don't understand the reason themselves, so I wouldn't worry too much about it :)

And yay awesome! I'm turning in another Septimus book tonight, so 600-700 more pages from me!

And to be honest, I'm sick of people indirectly talking about me. Last year in the MMC loads of people made snide comments about how fast "some" people read because I was downing 6 books a day because I had a pretty free schedule. This is just another thing to add to their lists of disliking me tbh. But I appreciate your input, I really do <3

I'm in your position now too, with the comments being made against me. Allison and I always try to be in the same group for many reasons, none giving us an advantage, but I read two of Orange complaining and kinda making hurtful comments about is in their group chat :( guess we just have to learn to ignore them, they're probably just jealous!

And haha thank you! You're killing it too though! You're reviews saved us, and those long GOT books are really helping us! Allison also has one to post near the end of the month!

It's not even coming across as jealously though, it's borderline pettiness. So what? I posted a bunch of reviews at once, and what? I'd made it clear for about a week or so before that, that I wouldn't have time to post them, but I'd be reading. If they had problems with it, bring it up then, not when we take the lead. Did they mention you directly? Because then that's crossing the line of okay. I'll take it all on the chin because tbh it mightn't even be about me, but I feel like it is.

Challenges like this really motivate me to smash through the books that intimidate me a bit! GOT is so big but I want this team to do so well, we've really worked hard.

I don't understand how it could be construed as tactical when the total, if you uploaded them over the course of a day, a week or a month, is exactly the same! I also got really excited when I saw our score jump, and that's thanks to you Connie :) maybe it's a bit of jelousy that we are rated the top? IDK. I could also NEVER write a review on my phone. It would be typo central!!

I wouldn't worry about it. Team Peach is on top (where I intend for us to stay, hehe).

I think the problem is that people are so serious about winning these challenges these days that they find anything to complain about when they aren't winning. I'm not sure which one of you said it, but nobody was complaining earlier when Connie was dumping and we weren't in the lead. Like Connie said, I think a lot of it is pettiness.

Yea it was 100% is. They called us "those two that always ask to be together", and were the only two who have consistently said that. One of them even specifically said she would be fine with anyone winning except us, because we've won too much.

All that did is make me that much more motivated to win!

But yup, pettiness it is indeed. I agree exactly with what you said Katrina, as the only people ever complaining are the ones not winning!

And expecting people to all write reviews are their phones is just no. I mean, not everyone can do that, and posting them is impossible with all the links needed! Just because one person can doesn't mean everyone can, and I know I won't be switching to mobile posting just so I can post my reviews right away. I try not too get too many back me dip, but sometimes that's just how it happens!

It's things like this that have made me go solo next month. I'll probably go solo until the next MMC (July or August) Just so people don't say anything about me. I'm sick of people saying things about me and each other, so what, you and Allison are friends, you'd like to work with your friends. What's wrong with that? And that's not very nice to say.

I personally, have had a great time working with you guys this month.

I've had a great time too! This group was kinda a safe space this month for me, while everything was going crazy out in the other chats.

I've decided to just ignore her, as she seems to have such a big problem with Allison and I that its just ridiculous. The team challenges have gotten me back into reading, so I don't want to give them up over her pettiness. If she says one more thing though, I'm going to private message her or say something about it though, because it's honestly so ridiculous

It's not okay that people are singling you out though, if it does happen again, I'd do exactly that. To be honest. I just don't care enough about people's comments to do anything about them when it's related to me, because I used to just notice when it was related to me (I didn't notice if it happened to others really), but now that it's a regular thing, it's not okay

That's awful Meaghan!! Crikey we are only reading books. Why would it matter to anyone else that you two like to be paired? I think that's lovely. I only wish I had that lovely reading bond with someone. And I would be happily paired with all of you guys again, this has been such a fun challenge :)

I just feel like people are just far too serious about reading, what's supposed to be serious about reading? Life is serious enough. Books are an escape from that. I just can't be bothered reading the snide comments anymore. It's been building up since like last year, so I'm moving aside to let it all cool off. Why is it people have to dump on our success when we're doing well? Can't we all just be happy for each other?

And I agree! I tried mentioning that the reason everyone was complaining was because we were getting wayyy too serious about winning, and all I got was some replies from people saying that that was the complete point! This should definitely be a break, and a bit of competitiveness is fun, but winning shouldn't be the point!

I've been doing challenges with this group for about a year now, and it's only been the last 2 or 3 challenges where everybody has started complaining about everything. I'm in a serious team for the June challenge, but I may just switch to doing solo after that, because it's the constant complaining and whining that takes all the fun out of it for me

I've been in this group for over two years and I think I've missed two challenges in that time, these past few months have definitely brought out the worst in everyone. The mods are working so hard to make this good for us, everyone is just coming across as ungrateful

I've only been in the challenges for 4 challenges (5th one is next month!) and I did notice an extreme change between February and March with the complaining, but I thought that was just because I switched from Fun to Serious and just didn't notice it before

I agree completely. Every time someone compains about something, it makes me sad because the mods works their butts off to make this group great. There have been times where I haven't been happy with things that have happened, but I've never complained because I know that Abbie and Sarah do the best they can do with all the people they have in this group. Not everyone is going to be happy with everything that happens in this group

I'm guilty of always joining the complaining, but often to just give another point of view. I always feel bad for the kids though ): they work so hard and there's this group of 5-10 always complaining about something
