*Finally got Cruel Summer from the library - it was overdue by two weeks! I was thinking the previous borrower wasn't going to return it in time for me to read it for this challenge - then I get it, and really it wasn't all that great, but mostly because it was the angst of a 17 year old girl, and I've been there, done that - it was a fast read because it was written in journal entry, blog, letter form*
Yeah the angst of a 17 yo is something you have to suffer through and then forget and never get back to ever again. But yay!! You've finished the challenge, great!

Oh no! I thought we always had until the evening of the first day of the month to post the books we finished in the previous month's challenges, because there are so many different time zones represented in this group. I'm almost always reading right up until the midnight deadline, and too tired to post until the next morning, but I haven't missed a final update until today. Actually, looking at the time you posted the final update, Mel, it looks like it wasn't even midnight yet in my time zone, (MST in the US). Any chance for a final recount. Pleeeeease!;-)Just in case, I'll just post my final update like Toni did.

Completed 6/10
Those who have not posted their final update yet, feel free to post it.Mel lives in a different time zone, and probably just forgot about the time difference.
I'm sure she won't mind adding your points to the final update.
Unfortunately, I have nothing further to add to my list. Didn't finish any of the challenges this month.
LibraryLass wrote: "Unfortunately, I have nothing further to add to my list. Didn't finish any of the challenges this month."Same here...I only read 7 books last August...just sad.. :(
I have found, Yz, that since I have bought this laptop, I spend far longer on it than on reading. I haven't missed the reading until just very recently. I hope to be reading more this month. By the sounds of it you have had an extremely hectic month so it's no wonder you have only read 7. Probably lucky to have done that many????
1. August: Read a book which title starts with the letter "A". Angels Blood by Nalini Singh
2. B-day Shelf: Read a book picked from an August B-Day celebrant GR shelf. Be sure to specify whose shelf you pick it from.
