I'm looking forward to Goblet of Fire. They gave him another year to work on it, so its release date is sometime next year. I loved the first 3, and need much of what book 4 offers in visual form.

I should probably read it before the movie comes out. I read some of her other books a few years ago, but never got to this one.

Thanks. I'll read it after I go through the very short list of books I need to get caught up on. It will probably end up being a July read for me.

Elora Mitchell | 578 comments I read Bronze and Sunflower over the last few weeks and it was such a treat. It’s a translation of a Chinese novel by an author who has written a bunch of books—but this is the first one translated into English.
It’s one of those slow books where nothing happens but at the same time everything happens. It’s definitely character driven and all the characters have depth. I read it to my kids and never has a book caused them to be so happy, sad or angry before, which is a nod to how well the author has developed the characters and story. I recommend it to everyone, but be warned you’ll be a puddle of emotions by the time you get to the end.

Caitlin Mcnamee (alanna-sama) | 51 comments I just finished Furyborn (Empirium, #1) by Claire Legrand and Neverworld Wake by Marisha Pessl , and am wondering if I should re-read Warcross (Warcross, #1) by Marie Lu in preparation for Wildcard (Warcross #2) by Marie Lu .

message 1374: by [deleted user] (new)

Reading The Seven Sisters (The Seven Sisters, #1) by Lucinda Riley really enjoying it.

message 1375: by Ashley Marie (new)

Ashley Marie Competence (Custard Protocol, #3) by Gail Carriger love it!

message 1376: by Caitlin (new)

Caitlin Mcnamee (alanna-sama) | 51 comments I'm reading Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu , and am absolutely loving it. It's real interesting going back and forth between Day and June, because of the difference in text choice.
