LOVED Six of Crows! I need to get to the Crooked Kingdom soon.

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1572 comments Okay, I am on a roll!

Started and finished The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon in just over 2 hours. LOVED IT!!! Really great contemporary, with all kinds of goodness. Seriously, the ending gave me CHILLS!

The Sun is Also a Star is amazing! Definitely worth the read.

Ashley Marie Finished Loss (Riders of the Apocalypse, #3) by Jackie Morse Kessler yesterday. It still packed the punch I've come to expect from this series but some parts threw me off. 4 stars.

I'm apprehensive about reading the finale Breath (Riders of the Apocalypse, #4) by Jackie Morse Kessler because me & death & existential crises... yeah. But I'm sure it'll be just as good!

And finally started Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys last night!

Ok...I have to pick Heartless by Marissa Meyer back up!!! Everyone is raving about it!!!! When I tried to read it I couldn't get into it, but at the time I was having trouble getting into anything because I was in such a reading slump. Ever since then it has been sitting in my "currently reading" list with a few other great books that the same thing happened with. I kept getting burned out last year. That's why this year my goal is to just read one book at a time and really enjoy it. I'm not going to let myself get stressed out this year. Reading is for de-stressing, so when it starts becoming stressful you know something is wrong. So I'm not gonna worry about my huge TBR pile...besides let's face it, it's always going to be huge! Lol. I'm not going to stress out about challenges or books of the month, if I meet the challenges or read the monthly books yay! But, if not, then no big deal. I just want to read books and talk about them...yay!!!!
Anyhoo, now that I've gone on and on lol, I'm currently reading No Limits (Ultimate, #1) by Lori Foster and next will be Finding Kyler (The Kennedy Boys #1) by Siobhan Davis

Good goal Donna! I struggle with pressuring myself with reading things too.

message 958: by Becky (new)

Becky (bek11) | 451 comments I find if I out something as currently reading on GR, there's a really good chance I don't finish it. Now I just read and if I finish it, then I rate it and mark it as read. And I haven't looked at my TBR in a long time.

I am super slacking lately and set to go to Georgia tomorrow for a week so it will not improve. I am nearly done with Elora's Redemption Redemption by Elora Mitchell and started Front Lines (Soldier Girl, #1) by Michael Grant and like it but it is on Playaway so I have not listened to as much as normally would have on my phone.

Ashley Marie Still enjoying Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys although Alfred feels like a complete turd compared to the rest of the characters -- (view spoiler) And I'm not getting very much read due to rehearsals this month. Sigh.

Also finished The Alexandria Link (Cotton Malone, #2) by Steve Berry Throne of Jade (Temeraire, #2) by Naomi Novik and really looking forward to the rest of the Temeraire books :)

Fun! Let me know what you think. I've been on the fence about this one. BTW, I finally gave The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastard, #1) by Scott Lynch another shot. And I'm LOVING it!!
It's fun and dark at the same time, and I have no idea where it's going.
