Awesome! If I could promise you I would read it soon and quickly, we could have a buddy read :)

Okay Karen and David, let's just do it! We haven't done a buddy read in a long time! I set up a thread!

I will try and start this weekend, but I'm going to be away at my scrapbook retreat, so I won't be reading much :) So excited!
Everyone else is welcome to join in too!

I finished
and really liked it. It had a very dark fairy tale kind of vibe.
Last weekend was a graphic novel readathon on one of my groups, so I read:
Enjoyed them all, but especially Descender! Really good space Sci_Fi!
Right now I'm reading
which is taking me forever, although I'm enjoying it. Its just very slow.
Also started
I've been wanting to read this series forever. So far I really like it, its very witty and fun!
And I guess I'll be starting
;)

Currently reading The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle which is really cool in its execution, but I find I’m lost—a good thing for a mystery, I guess.
Also reading Paperback Crush, a non-fic about 80s and 90s serial teen books. It’s definitely a trip down memory lane. ☺️
Oh wait! Did I just age myself!?? 😂😂

Really great. The only fault in it was the ending was a serious cliffhanger, which I hate. Other than that, it was awesome! I'm now reading the next book in the series.
If you haven't read any of it, you might like the Dresden Files series, actually. It's a mystery series with wizards and other paranormal elements.
I have yet to read a Jim Butcher book but I have a couple on my Kindle. just need to find the time!

I'm really enjoying The Near Witch. It makes me sad that it went out of print and I couldn't have started my love for everything V.E. Schwab with this one. I'm glad they brought it back.
