Starting Restore Me. Already looked at the spoilers since I’m seeing Tahereh Mafi tonight at Barnes and Noble and know that I’m not going to be done with it by then and that way I won’t have spoilers tonight. Still reading it because the spoilers just made me even more intrigued.

Okay Karen and David, let's just do it! We haven't done a buddy read in a long time! I set up a thread!

I will try and start this weekend, but I'm going to be away at my scrapbook retreat, so I won't be reading much :) So excited!
Everyone else is welcome to join in too!

I finished
and really liked it. It had a very dark fairy tale kind of vibe.
Last weekend was a graphic novel readathon on one of my groups, so I read:
Enjoyed them all, but especially Descender! Really good space Sci_Fi!
Right now I'm reading
which is taking me forever, although I'm enjoying it. Its just very slow.
Also started
I've been wanting to read this series forever. So far I really like it, its very witty and fun!
And I guess I'll be starting
;)

I’m so glad you guys mentioned One Word Kill. I was going to pass on it because I wasn’t familiar with the author. But I picked it up and hopefully will be starting it soon. Currently reading The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle which is really cool in its execution, but I find I’m lost—a good thing for a mystery, I guess.
Also reading Paperback Crush, a non-fic about 80s and 90s serial teen books. It’s definitely a trip down memory lane. ☺️
Oh wait! Did I just age myself!?? 😂😂

I'm only reading books by authors that are going to be at Yallwest this year so I set Restore Me aside (Tahereh Mafi is going to be there, but my copy is already signed because I bought it that way) and now I'm reading The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe. If I like it, I might bring it with me to get signed.
I finished book 41 today and holy cow it was fantastic . Battle Mage by Peter Flannery if you haven't read this then you need to . As I said it is fantasy at it's finest . Loved it from start to finish . 😁😁😁
Christine wrote: "Victoria how was that book called Changes by Jim Butcher?"Really great. The only fault in it was the ending was a serious cliffhanger, which I hate. Other than that, it was awesome! I'm now reading the next book in the series.
If you haven't read any of it, you might like the Dresden Files series, actually. It's a mystery series with wizards and other paranormal elements.
I have yet to read a Jim Butcher book but I have a couple on my Kindle. just need to find the time!

Oh, Circe! I'm trying to get to that one this month.

Finished The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe, which I almost DNF’d but it surprised me in the end, 4 star read. Now reading The Near Witch by V.E. Schwab.

I'm really enjoying The Near Witch. It makes me sad that it went out of print and I couldn't have started my love for everything V.E. Schwab with this one. I'm glad they brought it back.
