and...I totally forgot the other one I had picked out. Ugh. Going to have to look through books again. I was just checking its shelves earlier and saying, yes! I have one! And now I don't remember what it was.

so much that I had to DNF at about 27 pages, which took me over an hour to read. Can't think of much of anything else that anybody would know that I thought stunk (a few random thrift store find kind of books). Unless you want to read

Atlantic Avenue – Book 1 Complete

Rating: 4.5 Stars
This one was really good. Very reminiscent of Groundhog's Day (and the book even mentions the movie) where you get to live a single day over and over. I really didn't like the main character, Sam, at all...at first. As the book went on I liked her more, when she started to be a better person and right some wrongs and all that. In the end I really liked this one.
And now I need one more 2010 book...off to search again, I guess! :)

I read Cat's Cradle, which was on page 19 of the Must Read shelf. It was such a weird book, though, that I'm still not 100% sure what exactly I thought of it. I think I liked it, maybe? I'm starting to think all of his books are this strange, because Slaughterhouse-Five was rather bizarre as well (though this one won the bizarre contest by a lot). Kinda makes me want to read even more of his stuff. So I guess that means I liked it a lot? So confusing...
Oh well, on with my (late) next roll.

We're all at least 1 roll behind, going by the spreadsheet haha, and that's basing on the fact that my dates are correct.
I found one on the 2010 shelf that I'm planning to read soon, hopefully starting today if I can. Then I'll get my next roll going. :)

I'm currently sleeping on Amanda's couch over on Illinois Ave! 3 book rent for a couch I have to share with her dogs.
