TCF Monopoly G vs D vs V vs M vs T vs A vs M
If you don't know how to use or find your browser's "find" feature, type CTRL-F. A search box will appear at the bottom of your screen. Type the shelf name in that.
Okay thanks :) I'll get my first book done probably Saturday, then I'll have another 2 rolls I can catch up on xD
Let me try to explain it a little better for Teresa.Let's say for example, you just finished reading Thirteen Reasons Why. (Because I just did, so that makes this easier for me to go through since I'm trying to do this myself)
So, pull up the book in a tab in your browser.
On the right hand side of the page is what we like to call "main page genres". These genres on the main page are ACTUAL genres that TRW (I'm going to use this for the name of the book to not type FOREVER) fits under. Young Adult, Contemporary, ETC. You're not going to find the shelf names that you're looking for on this page. So under that, you'll click on "See Other Top Shelves"
So, right now, I'm reading for MARVIN GARDENS. As the roll for Marvin Gardens says, I need to read 2 books from the Popular Recommended shelf. So, I'm looking for RECOMMENDED on the top shelves for TRW.
When you have the top shelves pulled up, you can hit the CTRL key on your keyboard at the same time as F to pull up the Find bar. Or you can find it in your drop down options, which depends on what browser you have. So CTRL and F at the same time is the easiest.
Since I'm looking for Recommended, I'm going to search the page for (you guessed it) Recommended. By the Find bar, you can see that there is 0 matches for Recommended on Page 1 of the Top Shelves. So, I'm going to move to Page 2.
If you look at Page 2 of TRW, you can see that Recommended is on this page! (You can find it with the Find bar) It says that TRW is shelved by 68 people on Recommended. WE FOUND THE SHELF!!!
So, now, we're going to take that information to the lovely links that we have on the first page of this thread. So, I'm going to open RECOMMENDED via our roll links.
I'm going to put a break here so maybe it'll be easier to read at this point
----
So, you're looking at the Recommended page. We found out on the shelves for Thirteen Reasons Why that 68 people shelved it as "recommended". So now we just have to find where it is on this page.
If you look at HUNGER GAMES, which is #1, you can see that it was shelved by 276 people as Recommended. We're looking for books that have been shelved 68 times, so we need to go a bit further. However, at the end of page 1, you can see MAZE RUNNER (the last book on the page) only has 79 people who shelved it as Recommended. So we probably don't have to go too far! So, I'm just going to move to page 2 for now.
So, if you pop out that handy-dandy Find bar again (CTRL and F at the same time, in case we forgot), and type in Thirteen Reasons Why, you'll see that it's on page 2!
AND THAT IS HOW WE DO IT!!! :D
Does that make sense? If not, Teresa can keep doing her graphics. :)

I really liked this one. Not as much as the first, but I'm still really liking where the story is going. I really wish America would make up her mind about Maxon, and Aspen...I know who I want her to pick, though. I really like Maxon and America's characters. I like that she stands up for what she believes in. All in all, I'm really liking the story as a whole, and I started the next book, The One, right after I finished this one. I want to see what happens!
I'm not going to be around much tomorrow, or the next few days, and I want to be sure I have whatever books on my Kindle, so I'm rolling a little early. Just so I can be sure I have whatever book/s on my Kindle before I go!Roll #3: 1 + 1 = 2

Yes, this! I was going to come post pretty much the same thing today but you covered it all perfectly. I was too tired to go through it all last night. I can still do a visual later but I won't get to for a few hours.

Score! I did right. :D
Property: Vermont Ave, paying rent to VampAmberNeed 2 books to complete.
Book 1-
Book Read:
The Vampire Lestat by Anne RiceDate: 3/31/16
Rating: 5 Stars
How it fits: shelved 63 times as wishlist on page 49 of the list.
Pages: 481 Pages
Review: Wow, I think I might have enjoyed this one even more than Interview with the Vampire. Lestat was fascinating and the stories Rice told were too. I would never have guessed any of Lestat's history from book one, since from Louis' point of view he was so evil. I just loved it and can't wait to read more.
Finished my second roll
for Pennsylvania Railroad-set in PennsylvaniaRead: 4/1
Rating: 3 stars
I enjoyed this book. Sam and Abby had goood chemistry and dealt very well with the surprises that came up. I'll eventually get to the rest of the series.
I own Pennsylvania Railroad

I landed on that one in my other Monopoly game, so I went through some books I really wanted to read, and looked through the reviews to see if it had a lot of 1-star reviews, and went with one that had over 150 of them. I figure if they only gave it one star, they must've thought it stunk.

I would just pick a book you want to read and see if any of your friends gave it a 1 star rating...I'm sure that wouldn't be too hard.
Maddison wrote: "Yeah that's true. Or could you just ask someone?"Ask somebody that hates reading or is severely picky. That way, almost everything they've read will have stunk to them. ^_^

I actually enjoyed this book lots! Nothing bad about it, which is really good :) There were also plenty of plot twists, with a little romance (I'm glad it didn't take over the book like it usually does). One thing that did annoy me though was the fact that (view spoiler) I'm so please I finally read this book, and can see why everyone's always talking about it :) Can't wait to read the rest of them sometime in the probably far future haha.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Rolled a 3+3=6 (assuming doubles mean nothing in this version, right?)Starting Spot: St Charles Place

tomorrow, so I can finally roll again. I've got another 2 spins I can roll before Friday, so I'll have next one and the one after, I believe?
I don't think anyone's up to date. It'd be helpful if we put dates next to the rolls, so we can see. I'll do that now, I think.
Okay I've updated the spreadsheet. So this will be my book from the 2nd roll, and then once I'm done I can have my 3rd roll, and then I'll wait until Friday for my 4th roll, or there around abouts :p
I updated the spreadsheet too. I think Maya was referring to the tracking post that she is maintaining at the top :-)
Maddison wrote: "What do you mean?"I have a tracking post at the beginning of this thread that has all the properties and who owns/is reading them
So I'm on Free Parking now, and I kind of planned to have my book done today, but my boyfriend's cousin is hanging around in the room so I feel the need to be social :/

Read this one a few times now, and still enjoy it every time :) I've just never gotten around to finishing the series, and I hope to this time. Sometimes I find it quite childish, like with the Holts, but I love the whole mystery aspect, and the suspense with the other teams and the danger and it's all so exciting!
Oh lucky bloody me. Rolled a 5+5=10 :/Starting Spot: Free Parking
Ending Spot: Go To Jail
Actual Ending Spot: Jail
Roll 1 for Jail: 4+4=8 Yay I'm now out of Jail! Can I roll again for my spot, or do I need to wait until tomorrow?
I'll just roll now, it's not like I'm going to have finished my book by my roll tomorrow haha.Rolled a 3+2=5
Starting Spot: Jail
Ending Spot: Pennsylvania Railroad (read anything) Yay this actually wasn't bad, except for the fact I've been on the same row for aaaaages! Like 3 rolls now! I keep going backwards!
