TCF Monopoly G vs D vs V vs M vs T vs A vs M

Ahaha, Teresa, I'm sure they will! XD I got lucky and was able to get my Life book out of the way. But it felt weird getting it done super quick! It threw off my whole week. XD"
That happened to me one of the weeks where I missed the Friday update but finished my book on Saturday. It was weird! I kept feeling like I missed something.

And thanks for that mention, Amanda :p But you actually did all the work :p

Haha, no problem! And I haven't started my book, either.

Yeah, it definitely throws things off once you get into a routine and miss a check in.

And by Friday rolls, does that mean we don't roll again until next Friday? Or what?

But not sure what everyone else was thinking!

And I believe Maya would be waiting until next Friday to roll again, right?

Right, after our book is finished for this roll.
Not sure what the plan was. She just said Friday.

And I don't think we should put exact limits on when we can roll, because some books take longer than others, and maybe Maya was just lucky with that roll. If she reads her next one, the roll after that one may take longer to complete. So I feel like we should just aim for a book a week, but if we go over or under we shouldn't need to wait to roll again. Does that make sense?

I'm really not in it to win it, just here for the fun so I'm cool with that.
You're good, Maya!

I'm 3 chapters into my book."
Probably, but I'm a super fast reader when I actually have the time to read. And I'll be up doing laundry tomorrow night, soooooo means lots of reading downtime. That's why I'm cool with doing one a week - I can aim to get it out of the way and still have time to chat with all of y'all: D

I'm 5% through Throne of Glass. I'll be reading that from now on. Hopefully have it finished before long.

I'll be on my second book. My roll that I did for TN AVE will count as my Friday roll

This was such a cute book, and went as well as the back blurb made it sound like it would (it's always so refreshing when that happens). The characters were nice and quirky, just the way I like them, and you gotta love that HEA. I can definitely see why a lot of people would have this on their wishlist, it was totally adorable. Wouldn't have minded one or two of her wishes for myself...
So, now I own Vermont Avenue. Yays! Do I roll now and wait until Friday to start reading, or do I wait til Friday to roll?

I scroll through quickly, and look for any that are on my lists (since the bar at the right is a different color then). Then I choose from the ones on my TBR list (or occasionally, one I've already read that I really want to reread).

Anyway, I rolled a 5 (2+3), and that landed me on States Avenue. Off to find something interesting from the Maybe Shelf. ^_^

I check the book I'm reading for the shelf.

What are you reading?

Enjoyed the action. Loved learning more about Dex and Perry. Trying to figure out who was causing allof the incidents definitely kept my attention. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Yay I own Oriental Ave

Thanks all!
Maya, I'm reading

I should be able to roll by tomorrow at the latest then.

Changeless by Gail Carriger. 5 stars
Review- loved it!! I loved the quirky humor, characters & plot. This series is so fun! A welcome break between from the more serious fantasy I enjoy.
I now own Baltic Ave.

Amanda- it might take me a while to read this rent anyway, so you're ok!! You'll be able to catch up :-)

Roll #1: 4+1=5: Reading Railroad
For Reading Railroad – Read whatever you want.

Finished 3/26/16
Rating: 3.5 stars
Review: I liked the main character, Jamie, and his life story but the pastor and his electricity fascination just went over my head or lost my interest. I'm not sure. This is a hard book for me to review. I just liked it as a tale of a man's childhood memories, his family and then later his struggle with addiction and even the relationship he had with the pastor but again, all the electricity stuff was just beyond me.
I now own Reading Railroad
If a player lands on an “owned” railroad, the owner will recommend a book for that specific railroad.
