I found the article fascinating. Has anyone read this?

I haven't, but I am currently listening to his Back to Blood which buzzes from the 'whirlwind literary arpeggio' - style Robert McCrum talks about when referring to his fictional writing. It's loud, it's gutsy, and it has lots of bizarre onomatopoeia. So I wonder what would his non-fiction sound like?

I haven't read it but I saw the movie, which was excellent!

I thought I'd update that I'm currently reading this and it's very good. Totally not the sort of book I thought I'd be interested in, but I picked it up just because of this list and I'm glad I did. It's definitely worth a read.
