Reminded me to move onto Cloudstreetafter finishing The Night of the Hunter by Davis Grubb. It probably derserves more than being a palate cleanser after how much I enjoyed the night of, but someone's got to do it! :) Looking forward to it

I am currently reading two books - as I am wont to do:
The Last Train by Sue Lawrence - really enjoying it, and heartened that Brenda has given it 5 stars!!
Storm Clouds by Bronwyn Parry - you can't go wrong with a Bronwyn Parry book, hooked from page 1
I've just started The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. Compulsive reading trying to work out what is going on!
Last night at the library I picked up a graphic novel's first installment - Paper Girls, Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan I raced through it when I got home and will now seek out volume 2.

Started The Four Legendary Kingdoms by Matthew Reilly for the A-Z challenge. A big shock jumping back into Reilly an his writing style. Last one i read was a few years ago. Hopefully it will be just an enjoyable easy read

Love Matthew Reilly! Hanging out for the new one coming out in November! Enjoy!
Yes Brenda that is the one...it is bringing back memories because I was sent to that place when I was 16 I kept running away from home and was sent there for 7 months.
Finished off The Four Legendary Kingdoms by Matthew Reilly. I have to say I miss his older stories when there wasn't all these grand mythical mysteries and such, but it was certainly entertaining!and just a note.. describing how someone ends a handshake like (view spoiler) has to be some of the best writing ever, I never knew Reilly was a comedian haha
I am still reading:
The Last Train by Sue Lawrence and
Storm Clouds by Bronwyn ParryEnjoying them both heaps - but didn't get a lot of reading time over the weekend - will knuckle down and read them in the next couple of days :)
Finally getting around to reading Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys... I have loved her other novels so no doubt i will enjoy this one too...

I'm reading Persuasion by Jane Austen at the moment. I'm very much enjoying it and finding it to be absolutely hilarious. However, it is taking me quite a bit longer to read than the average novel. Does anyone else find this when reading Jane Austen? Anyone have any tips?

Got a few pages into The Book of Tea by Kakuzō Okakura before I realised i should take this one slow to really appreciate it, so interspersing it with Emma by Jane Austen. With this one done i think i'll be nearly done with the Austen novels.
I bought the audiobook for Beyond the Deepwoods (by Paul Stewart) for a long car journey with my little friend.
