The library has The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart and The Good Pilot, Peter Woodhouse ready for me. They always seem to get things quickly when I am already overloaded.

Diana wrote: "Wow must find the ANZAC biscuits book! Interested to read it and it will make a great gift for my international friends..."I’ve got an idea they interviewed the author on Triple J recently. Either that or there’s more than one new book about ANZAC biscuits!! They are using a grab from the interview in one of their promos at the moment. It goes something along the lines of:
DJ - So, can you tell us what’s in the book?
Author - Eleven chapters...
Hahahahahaha

I've been in my current job for 5 years at a school library. I know the collection pretty well but every now and then I see something and think 'I've never seen that before!' Today I borrowed The Reluctant Journal of Henry K. Larsen by Canadian author Susin Nielsen. I will read anything by this award winning author so pleased with the surprised pick up.

I am going to try and wait a bit before I read it though. There are such long gaps between his books!"
That's what I like to do with long awaited books - savour the fact that I have them and can read them whenever I want ;)
