Nope, I'm very OCD about series. Need to read it in order :-) I have a few others also with fire in but still need to read the books before those in the series (

Sarita, I am so with you on series!!! I'm very OCD on reading in order too.

Glad I'm not alone. I was bad at one stage, as in, if I find a new author, that I want to read all their series, but then also as it was published (because they usually get better) - but luckily over that

Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was a murder mystery that stared police chief Jesse Stone investigating the murder of a couple of mobsters in his Massachussetts town. He has the help of his friend and private investigator Sunny, who is also investigating a case where a young girl joins a commune, which ends up being something much more sinister! I really liked the characters and the plot of this book - this was the first book I read in this series but now I'll definitely be checking out more! :)

Did we get our Free space stamp yet?
Still to start my Fire book, but since we can't really get bingo in the next round I'm trying to finish library books first ☺

Thanks Staci ☺

Yeah! I got mine out of my cupboard where all my TBR unreads are hiding. Almost done with my current soft copy so will be getting to it soon!

Whispers in the Reading Room by Shelley Gray

Read: April 14-16
Four Stars
Review:
Like the others in the series, the final book of the Chicago World's Fair Mysteries is about women in less than ideal circumstances.
In Whispers in the Reading Room, Lydia is in desperate financial straits. Her mother is intent on her marrying well. Sebastian began with a difficult childhood. Together, they share the love of books.
I enjoyed Sebastian and Lydia's story, however, found parts of it be unrealistic.
My favorite in the series is the second book. I recommend the entire series for fans of historical fiction.
Thank you to Thomas Nelson Zondervan and the Fiction Guild for a complimentary copy of the novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

The "fruit" stamp has been requested. Way to go team!

No problem Shae! I think it will be a few rounds before it is absolutely critical to finish the category for bingo - then it should probably fall in your summer vacation?

I checked - dependent on categories called, it will be at least 3 rounds before a team can call bingo (and that is if the specific categories are called). So think it would be a while.

I've read both Lizzy & Jane and Paper Hearts. Both are good. Happy reading!

No idea which one I will read. Good to have choices though. :-)

Thanks - so far I'm leaning towards

Staci, My Heart Remembers is my favorite Kim Vogel Sawyer book. Highly recommend it! Whichever you choose, I hope you enjoy it.

Book read: Down the Hidden Path

Review: I really loved this book. It was a sweet (albiet sometimes slightly unbelievable) story about a man and woman who grew up best friends, and the girl was in love with the boy, but he left quickly after they graduated, breaking her heart. Years later, she has a twelve year old son who was adopted, but it was an open adoption and she has a lot of contact with him. She reconnects with the father, Jeremiah, and after a tragic accident occurs, her and Jeremiah are forced to confront their past and move forward. I will definitely be reading other books in this series.

All the teams need 3 categories to call bingo and almost every category needed is different per team ☺

Now...what book do I have for child?

Sorry - snooping on your TBR - I'm delaying having to release payments for work - soooo boring

I knew I had Room for Hope, but already read that one.
I really liked Covenant Child.

I had covenant child on my TBR for a while now - a good excuse to get to it ☺
