Taleisin (Tales of a Bookwyrm) | 7 comments The Other Side Of The Story by Marian Keyes

This was the first book by Marian Keyes I've read. She's been recommended to me a number of times. I've had the book on my shelf for a couple of years. One of those "Why didn't I read this sooner" moments. It was a little slow getting started, but soon sucked me in. Such interesting characters. Light and fluffy but with a bit of a serious edge.

I'm currently reading another of hers (unfortuneately, bought after the Jan. 1 deadline).

Taleisin (Tales of a Bookwyrm) | 7 comments Visions The Cainsville Series by Kelley Armstrong and Poison Fruit (Agent of Hel, #3) by Jacqueline Carey

I bought these books in hardcover when they first came out. They were the next ones in series that I was super excited about. That was in 2014.

Awesome reads!

I look forward the next Cainsville novel (which I also own).

Taleisin (Tales of a Bookwyrm) | 7 comments I know it's been forever since I posted. I finished two more TBRs. #7 was a graphic novel (I hope they count?) and #8 was a tome of a novel.

The art in Shadow of the Queen (Once Upon a Time, #2) by Daniel T. Thompson was a bit disjointing, but the story was an interesting addition to one of my favourite shows (Once Upon a Time).

Under Heaven (Under Heaven, #1) by Guy Gavriel Kay was just a beautifully written piece of fiction. I had a really hard time telling whether it was fantasy or historical fiction. Conclusion, it's fantasy that reads like historical fiction. I can't believe this one has been sitting on my shelf for 6 years!!

Every one of the books I've read off my list so far has been enjoyable. Kinda makes me kick myself for not getting to them sooner.

I'm currently reading two other TBRs so hopefully there won't be such a dry spell.

Taleisin (Tales of a Bookwyrm) | 7 comments Finished another one ... The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
