I'm a little over halfway done and the MC, Dane is slowly starting to renovate his house and doing the majority of the work himself, along with help Bell build a new chicken coop.

Sorry I haven't been around guys, I spent most of last week in the hospital and then the last two days sleeping around the clock at home! Today is the first day in ages I've felt mostly human, lol. :)

After adding some of the books I managed to finish to the mini challenge and moving Ora's The Frog Prince to DNA day and putting the other book in for green cover, we only have Hug A Plumber's Day left for everything to be claimed (though we have a few books left to actually finish). :D

Actually, I moved Her Lucky Cowboy to Hug A Plumber, Ashley's book to Straw Hat, and I have a book I'm reading for clash of the carnies this week that will work for D.A.R.E. day where Ashley's book started out. So we have a handful of books to finish up before the end of the month but everything is claimed!

I saw your post when I was on my app and meant to respond earlier and I guess I got sidetracked. I'm sorry you were in the hospital. Wow, you must have been really sick if you had to stay in there so long. I hope you're feeling better.

I can always read shorter books if necessary.

We haven't placed the most recent books into hands yet, but they all fit in multiple places.

I had a quick look and it doesn't seem like there is a specific card that we don't have any books at all for, so I think you can read whatever you want. The most important for us right now is to get enough books read to fill all the cards.

We have been doing a great job this month at reading books that fit into multiple cards, which makes it easier to move things around if needed.

I'm working on 2 books that I will hopefully finish by tomorrow, and I will try to finish one more book after that (although I have a big deadline on Sunday, so I'm not sure how much time I get to read this weekend).

I'm updating the spreadsheet now so I'll let you know if there's another card we really need, but the book you have planned should be fine! (Sorry I didn't get to update yesterday but I was frantically trying to finish packing up my apartment, LOL)

I finished a few books yesterday too and have a few others (not in hands yet) that I should be able to finish before the deadline. I'm moving today but have a couple of 3-4 hour audio books I'm planning to listen to while I do that, and tomorrow is a day for nothing but reading. ;)

I get to help my son pack up his stuff this afternoon. He's coming home for a week while he is waiting to move into a house. I'm just glad he hasn't acquired a lot of stuff yet.

That's definitely a good thing! I don't even know how we have as much stuff as we do, lol. My books alone take up a ridiculous number of boxes. :)

I have a few more books to put into hands and I'm not going to get to them right now (time to go pick up the keys to the new place! :D), but we have 1 one, two, three, four and nine left. And then the wild cards. We have the one, two and three covered already with books on the tracking sheet so we need a four and a nine. I will fit another In Death book in before the end of the month, and that will fit for either one (character Feeney or setting New York). I'm also reading The Aeronaut's Windlass which would for for 4, but I'm not 100% sure I'll finish it. So if someone else has a book for 4/9 we can use that. If not I'll just make sure I finish the Jim Butcher book, haha.

So then we would just have 5 wild/draw 4 cards left - Ora's book would cover one of them. I'll hopefully be able to cover at least one other with an audio today (maaaaybe 2) and I know Maria Helena has a short audio she'll finish as well. So we'd just need 2-3 books for wild/draw 4 spots to finish everything for the month! :D

**I think I counted that all correctly and don't think I'm missing anything, LOL. Still have to put in Ashley's The Horse Whisperer but that's just replacing All the Pretty Horses in the first hand.**
