I'm quite excited this book was picked for February! I've read Let's Get Lost by Adi Alsaid and fell in love with it. I really hope Never Always Sometimes will be just as impactful for me!

What do you guys think? Have you heard of the author Adi Alsaid? Have you read any of his books? Had you heard of our February book pick before today?

Any comments about Never Always Sometimes or Adi Alsaid are welcomed.

Shannon (shannonvm) I've read Let's Get Lost as well and really enjoyed it! I haven't read Never Always Sometimes yet, so this will be good!
I won signed copies of both these books when Adi had a Twitter contest last year. :)

Gabby Galarza (gabgal95) | 1 comments I haven't read anything by him. But I am so excited to get it and read

That is so awesome, congratulations! Both book seem completely different but I really hope Never Always Sometimes has the same feel to Let's Get Lost. I look forwards to your discussion along the way!

Yay! I'm so excited to hear this! Definitely let us know when you have a copy. By then the discussions about the story should already be started and jump in whenever you can.

Ashley Freeman | 11 comments I'm really excited to read this book! I haven't read Let's Get Lost but I do own it as both a hard copy and on my Nook, but I really can't wait to read Never Always Sometimes. I'm trying to find it at a library.

Me neither, but I've heard so many good things about this book and the blurb sounds pretty good itself.

Ashley Freeman | 11 comments Has anyone started reading the book yet?

We have added discussion threads with page numbers. You are welcomed to start the discussion!

Note: Should the page ranges be smaller let us know and we will accommodate this in the future.

That's amazing to hear! An author that I've been hearing a lot about that blurbed this book is Nicola Yoon author of Everything Everything.

When you get the book we would love to hear your thoughts in the discussion threads that include page numbers! (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...)

That's amazing to hear! Your library system is definitely better than mine. We look forward to hearing your thoughts of the book.

Omg, I've read Nicola Yoon's Everything Everything. It was good, the writing was gorgeous and the ilustrations.. they were the best.
Now I really want to start reading this book. :3

Eliyah Grayson | 2 comments I really like this book because I can really relate with the characters in a lot of way's. And I think that's what makes you want to keep reading. That and fangirling over your fav characters, lol! I like Julia's and David's relationship. And I think it's super cute (wont put it in actual words because it spoils) that they both think the same thing. ( You know what I mean, people who have read the book)

You're welcomed to discuss the book, spoilers included, in the corresponding threads. "Pages 203 - End | Discussion" thread would probably work best for you to talk about the books entirety!

Roxanne | 68 comments This is my first book by the author.

I definitely enjoyed Let's Get Lost a lot better than this one. I would recommend read Let's Get Lost whenever you get the chance, if you enjoyed Adi Alsaid's writing and such, it's a YA road trip type of book and really good.

Hi everyone! I've been collecting suggestions for YA dystopian novels. Anyone got a suggestion?

Roxanne | 68 comments Monument 14 (Monument 14, #1) by Emmy Laybourne Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi Article 5 (Article 5, #1) by Kristen Simmons Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth The Immortal Rules (Blood of Eden, #1) by Julie Kagawa here are just a few, that I can think of off the top of my head

Sure, I've read many. In addition to Hunger Games, which I liked better than Divergent (it started off well, but I thought the third book poorly written and that it had other problems), here are two that are written consistently well throughout the entire trilogy (rare, since even in Hunger Games the third book wasn't quite as good, but I've read it a few times and seen all of the movies).

Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis and its sequels

then there is
Eve (Eve, #1) by Anna Carey Plus sequels (the sequels are better than the first one which I still liked)
Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie but the first book is the best one of the three
The Giver (The Giver, #1) by Lois Lowry and its sequels is fairly strong
Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld series
Ender's Game (The Ender Quintet, #1) by Orson Scott Card and Ender's Shadow (Ender's Shadow, #1) by Orson Scott Card (the rest of the series is very different
The City of Ember (Book of Ember, #1) by Jeanne DuPrau books read in order of publication. This is for a slightly younger audience, but is far better than the movie.

I wasn't as into this series, but you might like it
Pure (Pure, #1) by Julianna Baggott

Yes, The Hunger Games is a YA dystopian book I recommend to everyone if they haven't read it yet.

Judy | 16 comments I'm currently reading the "Talented" series. Ready to start book 3 and it is pretty interesting although the first half of book 2 was pretty slow. I've read book one of the Fallen series. My grandson recommended it to me.

message 28: by Tiffany (new) - added it

Tiffany (herbtiff) I did an epic fail and did not get the book finished. I really do want to read it and plan on giving it a true effort as soon as I finish the current read. I am excited for Lady Midnight, but as I am moving will be another epic fail. Maybe April!
