Review

I loved the Night Huntress series and was sad to see it end. I was a bit disappointed to find I had read the majority of these before on the Frost Fans website although it was years ago.

There were a few new bits and it was nice to revisit this world and have a little bit of Cat and Bones again. In most cases it was easy to see why these weren't included in the published books but they were mostly entertaining. I would like to go back and reread this series again but so many other books keep me distracted.

Review:

Tara has two men that want to be with her.
One is her ex-husband, that she left two years ago.
And second, the father of her 17 year old child.

I loved this series book, so far I believe that 5th book was the best. (I read just 2, 4, 5, 6.5 books in the series. )

Review: Mark is a former Senator teaching a class to a group that is going overseas. Rose is part of the group and they have instant chemistry. Mark is also a Dom and keeps trying to convince Rose she is submissive and they are meant to be together. This book was pretty good and I'll probably read on in the series.

Review

Gavin Perez is the son of Dixie Cup waitress Lucia. He literally runs in to Jase son of local cop Keith Ramsey at the Diner's Thanksgiving dinner. The two get together over thanksgiving break before Jace returns to college.

I am not a huge fan of young/new adult themes but these two are likeable enough , they have quite a lot to work especially Jase who is not out and isn't happy at college. They are good support for each.

I liked being back in this world but didn't enjoy this one as much the other two books. The writing was good and I am looking forward to book 4 which takes us back to Samuel and Rey.

Yelena is now in Sitia and is reunited with the family she was taken from as a child. She is missing Valek but has a lot to deal with.

She starts her studies and is still trying to understand and control her powers. We meet a lot of new characters here including Cahil heir to the Ixian throne and her new horse Kiki. Ylenena gets involved in more than she expected.

I really like this series and I need to read the rest of it.

Review

I had been putting off reading this one as I wasn't sure what to expect with a story where Charley had lost her memories. It felt a bit like going backwards.

I loved how this was handled, Charley's friends and family have fitted themselves into her new life as Janey Doerr waitress in Sleepy Hollow.

Of course Charley can't stay out of trouble or stay away from Reyes so it is business as usual. I really enjoyed this one.

Review: OMG! This series keeps getting crazier and crazier! This series is about repayment of debts that date back to the 17th century between two families. This series is not for the faint at heart. Without giving anything away, at the end of the last book, I thought things would get better...but, of course, it got more insane! On to the next book! I have to find out what happens. Warning: There is a major cliffhanger in this book!

I love this series and it was great to have another book after a four year wait. Alex is back at work as a grave witch and gets caught up with a case involving the Fey and a new drug called Glitter.

Teacher Charlie first sees Josh when he is the paramedic called to the school when a young girl breaks her leg. Later when Josh returns to the school for an educational visit Charlie takes the chance to ask his hero out.

The two get on great but Josh is scared to come out to his brother Andrew as years ago Andrew cut his best friend out of his life for being gay and Josh is scared he will lose the only family he has.

I did like this one the characters are likeable enough but it isn't anything new or exciting. A pleasant enough read.
