It seems that The Princess and the Guard was going to be published separately, but that was nixed and the story has only ever been published in Stars Above. I believe this needs a merge.
I was looking at the books on my author page Stephanie Ellis and trying to pull in a book to which I am a contributor, however when I entered the title and was scrolling through the drop-down list, I hit return at the wrong point. My list now shows Flashdogs: Time with no information and does not reflect the real book Flashdogs: Time (Volume 3) ASIN:B01AMKHED8. Could this erroneous version be deleted or is there a way of getting the real one to overwrite it? Apologies if this is the wrong thread.

THere are two editons of that book, one kindle w/ ASIN B01AMKHED8, the other a paperback w/ ISBN 9781523357901. Both appear valid.

While it's true that the author/contributor list for the pb edition is incomplete, neither appears 'erroneous'. Did you mean some other edition not linked above? Please include a URL to the edition in question.

(At least I am as certain as I can be it is. Anchor is an imprint of Knopf Doubleday, the covers match, there is no ebook version with 1200 pages from Anchor in 2008 listed anywhere I can find, and there is already an Anchor Kindle edition with matching date, so it's not that one.)

(In case they get recombined by someone else before the merge is done - for some reason the latter edition didn't appear on the separate page for the work, and I had to separate it singly using the combine page.)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... is not a book but just on of many short stories in an edition of "Noveller för världens barn". Hence it should probably be removed since the actual book is also available on goodreads.
re 585, which edition of Noveller för världens barn does this story come from? i need to merge the short story with it, but i can't figure out which one is the correct book.

I believe it due to the fact that one uses the ASIN and the other uses the ISBN. Can the first one be deleted or merged with the second?

It isn't a duplicate but a different edition. The one with ASIN is a Kindle edition and the other one is an eBook edition.
#596Hi Noel, they're not duplicates. Both are valid editions. The one with ASIN is the Kindle edition, the one with ISBN is an ebook edition* even if it was listed also as Kindle (now corrected). Thus, they're been combined (not deleted/merged). FYI, any librarian can combine.
