That sounds pretty good indeed! I'm going to check that one out. I like IR friend stories also. :-)

It's not just you. Bring on the stalkerific heroes! It's not interracial, but it's very good. However it is a series, so you should start with Shadow Game. Here is the order:
Shadow Game
Mind Game
Night Game
Conspiracy Game
Deadly Game
Predatory Game
Murder Game
I love these books so much. These guys are total badasses, and the women also bring a lot to the table. Hot sex, true love, lots of action. What else can a girl ask for?

Wow, all these Games! :)
The naming is thematic for what the series is about. They are supersoldiers who are enhanced and have abilities. They are sort of on the run from the mad scientist who enhanced them, staying one step ahead of him, and trying to find others like them. That's why the books I have game in the title. I highly recommend these books.

I love paranormal! Oh, Inkheart sounds very cool.
I hope I never get too old to appreciate the things in life that make it worth living and being excited about.

I have The Secret Swan in the tbr. I loved The Smoke Thief so I am predisposed to like her books. I did like Intimate Enemies.
NU I have found I read romances the fastest because I get my fix from them. I don't think they are less worthwhile (or easy). I just zoom through them. It takes me a little longer to read most other kinds of books, probably because the love stuff isn't keeping the page turning. Action books keep me moving too.

I agree, Arch. I really enjoyed it. Normally I don't find Paul Bettany attractive but dang, he rocked it in here. And I loved Andy Serkis outside of the Gollum costume. Great villain. Brendan Fraser is, as always, a pleasure. :-)

Oh my goodness Rae. (Hey, it's good to see you).
I knew that bad guy looked familiar. He played as Gollum from The Lord of The Rings. I remember seeing him come on Connan and he did the Gollum talk. "Master."

How erotic is Beg For It, Maya? Does it have any anal stuff in it? I'd read it if it doesn't go there. Thanks for the 411.

Ooh, Angels!!!! I'm so there. I don't agree with the second messiah part thought (eyes rolling).
I've seen the second messiah storyline before. It's blasphemous to me because of my personal beliefs. I try to ignore that part when I read or see it in movies.
Eep! I saw pics and almost clicked on the trailer for Legion but the storyline and content gave me the heebie jeebies lol. I don't like angel storylines or things dealing with demons per se cause it just feels...freaky to me. Personal beliefs here, too. I just can't extend my brain that far to disassociate things I know with the extension of a fictionalized account. I hope that makes sense?
Ack.
Ack.

Good to see ya too Arch! Sorry I've been MIA. Been reading and diving into work stuff. But now I need a work break and I missed chatting books with you guys. :-)
Yup, that was Gollum. He can still play slimy bad guy well even out of the costume huh? hehe.

I can respect that. I am enjoying some of the nephilim/fallen angels/angel stories. I don't like stuff about second or third or how ever many messiahs and stuff that have things to negate what I believe about God in fiction. I am not judging anyone, it's just a personal ick/not liking factor. So I feel you, Rae.

If there's no anal, I'd like to read it. Thanks for checking. I've been burned before.

I love reading about best friends turn lovers, but not if the story have lots of sex in it. I don't care for detailed sex.
If I read some good friends to lovers books that are light on sex I'll let you know about them, Arch. You might like Marrying Marcus by Laurey Bright. It's a Silhouette Romance.

Thanks Danielle.
The best friends turn lovers stories that I have read were sweet.
I love tension. Are there any tensions in the books, you're going to recommend and the book, Marrying Marcus?

There's a lot of tension and emotion. The love scenes are mild but it was well done. I posted a review if you want to check it out:

LOL. I don't know, someone more intimidating... If Paul Bettany's leading the charge, I'm afraid humans are doomed. xD

I imagine it gets old after a while. You're like, oh, yeah, "There's Jerry Seinfeld, again." LOL.
Having an erotica screener really helps.
