We have Deadly Storm "by" Richard Castle at our library. I've never seen Castle the TV show, though. Surprising, since it stars Nathan Fillion. <3
Castle is kinda naff but I still really enjoy it - it's a Fillion vehicle and that is very okay.Dollhouse, Firefly, Buffy, Supernatural and Once Upon A Time have all had comics adapted from them, off the top of my head...
I liked the early seasons of Castle, but lost me every me time they went into the ponderous ARC episodes with the cop's mother's death. Derrick Storm is the character Castle creates in his novels, fyi, so the GNs wind up weird even for a media tie-in.
I've not watched castle, but was going with either buffy, Angel or firefly myself. Malcolm Reynolds is not my idea of the dream man, nope. Not at all ;)
Buffy comics are great! They've continued the series so that you can find out what happened with the Scooby Gang after the final season ended on tv.
I ended up reading Those Left Behind and Better Days - so good! I loved how the artists captured the essences of the real-life actors so well. ^_^
I read the Buffy Omnibus, Volume 7. I thought the writing really captured the characters, although the artwork varied in quality. Buffy the Vampire Slayer Omnibus Vol. 7
I stumbled upon Bee and Puppycat, Vol. 1 via my library's ComicsPlus subscription - and then we watched the cartoons on YouTube. Really fun, and the cartoons came first, so the comics work for this challenge. :)
Just read Orphan Black. JoLene if you are a follower of the show you may understand the comic, I did not. Of course comics are not my genre so I am probably biased. In all fairness to the challenge I should try another comic, but to be honest on a retirement income I simply can't afford it.

Thank you Bea for your concern. When i could still drive my large book bag and i were weekly visitors to the library. (Oh, the frustration of not being able to drive). Today i rely on Kindle Unlimited and your note made me think! Kindle does have some comics. Dont know which ones fit the criteria for the challenge but i am going to try some at random. Thank you so much for putting me on the trail. Jeanne

I have one of those too.
Jeanne, you might see if your library subscribes to the online comics service Comics Plus? Our library is pretty small, but I just discovered that it does - LOTS of comics available for free check out online! If that doesn't work, you might also check out Comixology - they have a bit of free content for comics, available to download. :)
For Chessa and Bea, i checked out some free comics on Kindle Unlimited and decided this is not a genre for me. Thank you both for your help and Happy Reading Jeanne
I read Avatar: The Last Airbender -- Smoke and Shadow. The comics have never lived up to the show but I was still disappointed this time around. (I reviewed it here, although if you haven't watched the show it may not be very explicable.)
