Finished 2/15/16
Review:
This book was better than the first in so many ways. I have to start out by saying I love Violet but this book may have taken my love to another life. She was such a strong heroine this time around and I loved it. I loved seeing her and Ash deal with the fall out from the first book and now they have other people relaying on them to get them all to safety. We got tons of revelations in this one too and once again another cliffhanger so now I can't wait for the next one.
I'll be posting my review today.

How it Fits 1520th on Best Book Boyfriend List
So this was a blind date book for me given to me in another group. I was actually surprised I liked it so much since I generally don’t read MC books. Nix and Kadence have an instant attraction that Nix wants to cultivate while Kadence is a bit more cautious. I think one of the things that appealed to me was that this MC worked to get out of their illegal dealings and became profitable by opening legitimate businesses for the community along with donating time and money to their community. Even though there was crude language, as with the MC books I have read, I didn’t feel like it was degrading and overused. This was a sexy and emotional read. I will definitely pick up the 2nd book in this series.
Week 5 - Spot 22
Book read:
The Wrecker by Clive Cussler
Series: #2 in Isaac Bell series
Date finished: 02/18/16
Rating: ★★★
Review: Isaac Bell from the Van Buren Detective Agency is on another case, this time hunting down The Wrecker, a man who has been blowing up trains, tracks, and tunnels to drive a railroad line to bankruptcy. One thing I like about this series is how much I am learning about railroads and train travel! And Isaac is a very likeable character. But in this novel, he gets beaten to a pulp, shot, and stabbed, and yet he's still walking around? Wow, a little unbelievable, but I still like the series. This was another thrilling ride, and now I'm wondering if there will be a high-speed train chase in every book. I hope so!

Yet another book I read and really liked. Actually considered giving this 5 stars but I'm giving too many 5 stars lately. I guess I'm just liking all the books I'm reading. Suppose it helps that I'm taking longer to read, so I'm noticing more details about the books.
Anyway, about this book :p I loved the supernatural element, and how it carried on from the first without recapping too much. I mean, what's the point of recapping? You should've read the first book anyway. I liked how it was full of action, and how the characters developed nicely. I was shocked when (view spoiler) I couldn't believe it! I was so glad when she didn't actually inject him with poison. I like how everyone's powers are evenly matched, and that there were no weak ones. The two things I didn't like were the love triangles, as usual, even though that was to be expected, and the font. I kept getting distracted when trying to read it because the font was small, but overall I really really enjoyed the book.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Hey guys, my next read is The Initiation / The Captive Part I (The Secret Circle, #1-2) by L.J. Smith, and it has a #2 in the series. Does that mean I can read it, but just review the second part and count that? Or can't I because I have the first and second together?

Review: I've been on re read of old favorites this month. I'd first read this back in 2011. But then I was big into shifters type books back then and boy how taste has change. I think this is reread # 3 and I didn't like it as much this go around. I generally don't like D/s theme book but it didn't bother me in the past. It is almost vanilla with the theme. It annoyed me this go around. Why is this character who never been in any form of D/s relationship and never was ask to in first place begin referring to his mate as "Sir' just all sudden accept this type of relationship with no question. May be I'm just feeling salty that I have been waiting for new book for nearly 5 years and no real news if it is even happening anymore.

Either read a book second or sixth in series, or read a book from the Science Fiction shelf. Not sure how to link it though, sorry.

Looks interesting, I will have to add it to my TBR.

Yeahp the series is amazing! There's a tv show too which is just as amazing :D Send me a message when you read it.

It just so happens that the book I picked up at the library last week is on that science fiction list so I am reading

Maddison wrote: "I've heard that's a really big book. Good luck getting it done!"
LOL I read pretty fast so I am sure I will. I have slowed down the last week or so but I have still been getting at least 1 book a day done.

I've been wanting to read
too! If I can make a huge dent in that this weekend, I'll read that. Otherwise, I'll read either
(#2) or
from the Science Fiction list.

How it Fits 2nd in series and also shelved science fiction 795 times
I absolutely loved this book. In the first book we found out who was the 5th wave. I was completely blindsided with some of the information that was revealed. I really wasn’t expecting that.
This book picks up right after book 1 with the destruction of the Wright Patterson. You get a deeper look at what the Others are doing and how manipulative they are. From studying humans, they learn how to use our instincts against us and slowly get us to not trust anyone and question ourselves.
I love most of the characters. A big part of the book was about Ringer. I really didn’t care for her too much in the first book, however I understand her better now and even starting to like her more. I am looking forward to see what role she plays in the third book. I can’t believe what Alex did to set her free.
I don’t think the Others expected Evan to fully embrace his human side. I love that he will do anything for Cassie and that he will always find her. He said she is the key, however it really didn’t explain how or why. So frustrating. I was not ready for this book to end.
Week 6:
Spot: 26 or alternate: Science Fiction
Winter by Marissa Meyer
Qualification: science fiction
Finished: 2/21/16
Rating & Review: ★★★★★
The time for Luna citizens to revolt has finally come. Princess Selene is ready to take back her throne.
I loved this book. It really wrapped up the series nicely. I loved the little bits and pieces of the fairy tales that we all know and love. It doesn't seem like there is much left to do for this motley crew of cyborgs, androids, earthlings and lunars. There is one more book so I am looking forward to seeing what will happen next.

I gave this book 5 stars the first time I read it, but now I'm giving it 4. In my eyes, Cassie was way too whiny, and so selfish. Oh, I can't do this to Diana, and Oh, I can't do this for Faye. Blah blah blah, Cassie. You got yourself into this position! And the (view spoiler) Yeah right, I hate it when that happens. At least I got a slight surprise when (view spoiler) Well, the first time I read it I did. I still really like the book, though.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I'll be finished with my book by tomorrow morning. Reading both a #2 and a #6 book so I will use whichever one I finish first.

I had to reread the first book to get in the mood to read this one. I'm going to say that I like the first book better than this one. I waiting for them to get together and they finally did and it kind of fell off with me for awhile. I can't explain why I t had happened. Overall I like this book but was not in love with it.
