I haven't used an Apple product in a while, but maybe this will help. (I use a Kindle and an Android phone and they work the same way, just press and hold then highlight, etc.)

It's Not Rocket Science - Full review here

3. Read a collection of essays: The Opposite of Loneliness: Essays and Stories Full review here

4. Read a book out loud to someone else

5. Read a middle grade novel The Secret Garden, 3rd July 16

6. Read a biography (not a memoir or autobiography)

7. Read a dystopian or post-apocalyptic novel: Station Eleven. Full review here

8. Read a book originally published in the decade you were born: The Handmaid's Tale, originally published in 1985. Full review here

9. Listen to an audiobook that was won an Audie Award
All the Light We Cannot See - won the Audie award for fiction in 2015. Honestly, I hate audio books! I'm really glad its a medium that's developing more and more so people who prefer to listen to books can have more options, but I fall asleep whenever someone talks at me for too long! So I just read it the Kindle version :) Full review here

10. Read a book over 500 pages long: Americanah - 610 pages! Full review here

11. Read a book under 100 pages
The Awakening - 95 pages. Full review here

12. Read a book by or about a person who identifies as transgender
The Argonauts
Full review here

13. Read a book that is set in the Middle East
I am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban. Set in Pakistan
See review here

14. Read a book by an author who is from Southeast Asia

15. Read a book of historical fiction that is set before 1900: The Miniaturist - set in 1686. Full review here - contains spoilers

16. Read the first book in a series that is by an author of color
All About Love by bell hooks
The first book of the Love Trilogy - Full review here

17. Read a non-superhero comic that debuted in the last three years

18. Read a book that was adapted into a movie, then watch the movie. Debate which is better: Room - the book is definitely better, but Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay were outstanding as Ma and Jack in the movie.

19. Read a nonfiction book about feminism or dealing with feminist issues: He's a Stud, She's a Slut, and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know - unfortunately a bit of a let down due to the arrogance of the author, but still makes some good points about gender inequality. Full review here

20. Read a book about religion (fiction or nonfiction)

21. Read a book about politics in your country or another (fiction/nonfiction): EU Referendum 2016 - a really simple, useful guide to the key arguments surrounding the EU Referendum. A must-read if you're going to be voting! See review here.

22. Read a food memoir Stir: My Broken Brain and the Meals That Brought Me Home - a beautifully written love story about the healing power of food. See review here

23. Read a play: Pygmalion

24. Read a book with a main character that has a mental illness
Norwegian Wood - Naoko has a mental illness, though it's never defined exactly what it is. Honestly, it's an atrociously bad portrayal of mental illness - it's more of a roadblock to Naoko and Toru's relationship rather than something, particularly as the story is narrated by Toru.
