Yes, I saw the good deal, & though my pb copy of Vision is on its way, I couldn't resist getting the kindle edition as well. (though with the exchange rate Vision was $6, but better than $16. LOL)
finished listening to
really enjoyed this and the previous book in the seriesboth 4 star reads for me.
I don`t know how JM got it so wrong with the third book, I gave it 2 stars and I was kindcompared to others who gave it 1 star and in some cases no stars, I was a poor book
So I ended up reading this next, thinking I will just give it a go, I have alwayspassed this series by, without a second glance, as they don`t look like they would be very interesting. However
with so many people raving about them and after reading the first. I was totaly side tracked from my current reads
So also read
and currently reading

Lee, another convert!!!!! Val gotta admit that I haven't read any/many of Jane's shorties. You'll have to let me know whether I've gotta read em :)
Sandra wrote: "Val gotta admit that I haven't read any/many of Jane's shorties. This book's got all the previous published shorts in one place so I like it a lot. As the author said in her foreword those stories are to investigate side storylines (like where does JY comes from and what she did before the events in the series) and other character's POV. Some shorts are scenes from Bruiser 's and Rick's POV, some are adventures of Rick and the Everhart's POV with Jane as a secondary character. It flesh out the JY universe but are not necessary if you are not a fan of the series.
Does that make sense and answer your question?
I personally loved all the ones I've read so far and will probably rate it a 5 stars.
I finished:
I enjoyed the use of time-travel in this book. It was pretty interesting. I liked the characters, the book was a little slow at times, but overall really interesting. Gave it ★★★.5
I've seen so many rave about this series, so thought I'd give it a go. It was also the first time I read anything by this author, so I didn't really know what to expect. I listened to this book on audio and the narrator had a pretty squaky voice, which was pretty annoying at times. I liked the story it was very fast-paced and everything. Gave it ★★★★
I nearly cried when Eve was suspended from her work in this book. Eve being a detective isn't only her job, but who she is, so how would she know how to act in a situation like this. Loved how Roarke handled it, both in the beginning being the concerned husband he is, but later also how he made sure she didn't feel too sorry for herself. I love these books. Gave it ★★★★★
I really enjoyed this book. The setting was beautiful and I could definitely see how this Inn was going to look like. The book had the addition of small school kids, who added a lot of cuteness to the story, there was the fun addition of a ghost, and then I'd really love a job like the MC carrie had in this book. Gave it ★★★★.5
This is a book I've put off reading for quite a while. Partly because of it's size, it's a bit of a chunkster. Although the pace throughout the whole book was a bit slow, I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I'm definitely going to continue with the series. Gave it ★★★★
I love the Night Huntress Universe. I was so happy to finally see some more of Vlad in this book. I loved every minute of this, and I really enjoy the audios, because the narrator is really great. Gave it ★★★★★
These books just have so many different things happening. How Eugenie could even think of going back to Kiyo I'll never understand. I'm totally team Dorian. Kiyo is such a control freak over Eugenie, and how he acts toward the end is completely crazy. Can't wait for the last book. I gave the book ★★★★★
Now I'm working on:

was surprisingly good. Just started
I'm really enjoying the writing style, not so sure about the characters.

.While I'm not suffering from type 2 diabetes my husband does and has for years, he's now injecting insulin because pills are no longer sufficient. It is not a recognized treatment but some studies do point toward it. What I like about this method is that the hypotheses on which it stands comes from scientific studies. The problem is that the groups are small and can't have a great value statistically speaking but it's a start to understand the mechanisms of diabetes instead of treating the symptoms.
We (I mean he's going to try it and me encouraging him) are starting a 2 months 'diet' to see if it can help him manage his blood sugar better.
Sorry to hear that Val. Type 2 runs in my family though luckily none of them need to inject insulin.

lots of cameos from previous couples & a new enemy to find."(we have different covers)
I loved this book too, likeyourself enjoyed seeing the couples from previous books. This
series looks to be going in a good direction. I also look forward to
finding out more about the new packs mentioned.
I have enjoyed the last few books but thought lately the series was
consentrating too much on the psy relationships and not enough
on the changelings. But this last book it kind of leveled out,
Its all looking good for future books.
.
I agree Lee. Loved RainFire leopards & the little cubs :)Future books look really interesting, can't wait!

Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill
Read all the books so far in this series and enjoyed them,
I kind of look on them as holiday reads. I usually take couple of them
with me to read while travelling. Its been a good series and where
I live, these books are a favourite in all the libraries. I own the first book
a well read secondhand copy, bought in a charity shop.
Good job the library has plenty of copies, because I have never seen
this series in any book shop over here.
Have to say the audiobooks are terrible and should be avoided
quite the worst I have ever listened to, one was enough, really
cringe worthy.

and was a bit dissapointed with it...too slow but wanted to finish because of the spoiler on the next short.Reading

absolutely adored it!!Fantastic book, cracked up laughing so many times. can't wait to get my digits on the next book!!
On IA webpage there was hints about Kate turning bad... i wonder what all that was about.... or maybe I'm just tripping. lol.
Do you mean this Ashleigh?"we’re systematically ruining all positive things about Kate’s life. Kate has always been a good guy. Upsetting that axis is fun, but takes a lot of work."
Sandra wrote: "Do you mean this Ashleigh?"we’re systematically ruining all positive things about Kate’s life. Kate has always been a good guy. Upsetting that axis is fun, but takes a lot of work.""
ohh thats a good one but no i believe there was something else (though that may indeed be the right comment, it was a while ago i read it - seeing if i can find it) besides IA is always screwing with Kate's life, poor women can never catch a break. lol.
@ SAndra,Might have been this comment:
'Must go work. Kate is turning to the Dark Side, so it’s kind of a pivotal moment.'
Not sure, i just recall pondering as to whether she was going to become evil now or not. totally thought she might in book 8 after she (view spoiler) i dont know - just throwing theories around
I don't think Kate could ever go to the dark side, unless its in defence of someone she loves or feels protective of. Then she could go all out :D
Sandra wrote: "I don't think Kate could ever go to the dark side, unless its in defence of someone she loves or feels protective of. Then she could go all out :D"not really spoilers and i was vague but felt best to hide them incase someone hasnt read this far yet.

chance that I started reading it, a cheap lucky find of books 2 and 3,
found the first book in the library.

was really good, though i did have some small issues over all so rating 4.5 stars thinking of reading
next.

Glad to have finished off that series. I do not understand all those 5 star ratings it's gotten though. I wasn't super happy with the ending, the book was unnecessary long, and I felt like it took forever to get to the end. That said it wasn't completely awful so I ended up giving it 3 stars. Which i think was generous.
Also finished these:
Both were surprisingly good. Both books I've been postponing for a while.
Now I'm working on:
I really like these books. About half-way with this one.
very different from other shifter books I've read. Not completely sure what I think of it yet.

I thought perhaps one day I might give it a go again.

the audiobook. Its just as good as the book.

I thought the first 3 books were good. It was supposed to be a trilogy at first. It's so obvious in the plot. It would have been a good series had it ended there. It annoyed me that it kept shifting between several POV. It made the pace of the story that much slower. The first 3 books were only from Clary's POV.
Waiting on my copy of
hopefully soon. And waiting for the price of
to come down or the library to get it.Meanwhile, got
from the library. Not bad, but I'm glad I didn't buy it.
Been catching up on some of my series... Read

The third book in this series is one of my favorite NR books ever! Of course, you have to read the first two to get to it ....
Got the 1st 2 from the library Lauren, will chase up #3 (which is held at another branch for some reason) when I've read #1 & #2 :)Now I've got something to look forward to. LOL
Finished the Lioness series, overall rating 3.5 Stars.
Also read
which wasn't great but interesting. 3 starsAnd
which was surprisingly good, didn't think I'd like it this much. looking forward to book 2.
Finished:
I really enjoyed all four books.
Reading now:
Right now this book is just OK.
I feel the same about this bookGoing to start today:
Can't wait to see what will happen after Mab's gone.

and I just had to throw my opinion out here. I really loved this book. So happy Gin finally got some closure with Donovan. For me this book was right up there with venom. That's how much I liked it. I couldn't not give it 5 stars. Also happy that Brea is finally changing her opinion about Gin a bit, she's been grating on my nerves the past 2 books, and Owen is just perfect for Gin.
