Dee | 851 comments It's not too late to join so welcome to the challenge. Some people are choosing their books as they go and then date them when they finish each book and others are adding the bookcovers and titles as they are read them. Both ways are fine and completely your preference. I will be choosing books for people who hve just started as soon as I can. I am away from my computer at the moment (on holidays this week) and my tablet is more difficult to do it. Enjoy the challenge everyone!

Halli | 3 comments I'm in!
My 2016 NABC Yearly Challenge
7/52

1. ✔️ A book published this year
The Score by Elle Kennedy Completed 1/11/2016
Review - This book really made me laugh, it also made me cry. The dialogue between the main characters and those characters from The Mistake and The Deal is really enjoyable.

2. A book that is more than 10 years old
Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel

3. A book by an author you love
Us by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
- I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS BOOK!

4. ✔️ A book by an author you’ve never read before
A Lover's Lament by K.L. Grayson Completed 1/4/2016
Review - The letters back and forth between the main characters were beautiful. The love Sergeant Devin Clay has for his men is inspiring.

5. A book written by an author with your same initials

6. A book by a male author

7. A book by a female author
The Goal by Elle Kennedy
- After reading the ending of The Score I can say I'm even more excited for this book :D

8. A book your friend loves

9. A book at the bottom of your “to-read” pile
The Baller by Vi Keeland
10. A book at the top of your “to-read” pile
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
11. A book you own but haven’t read

12. A book “everyone” but you has read
Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James
13. A book you loved – read it again :) (can be a re-read)
Him by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy Completed **in progress**

14. A book that was made into a movie

15. A book you pick solely because of the cover

16. A book set somewhere you’ve always wanted to visit

17. A book you started but never finished

18. A book with a female heroine

19. A book set in the summer

20. A book set in the winter

21. ✔️ A book with poems/lyrics in it
Faking It by Cora Carmack Completed 1/9/2016
22. A book with a great first line

23. ✔️ A book in a genre you wouldn’t typically choose
Becoming Calder by Mia Sheridan Completed 1/13/2016
Review - At first I had a hard time with the cult craziness, however the love story was so beautiful that I couldn't put this book down.

24. A book with a paranormal creature in it

25. A book from the New Adult Book Club non-contemporary monthly group reads

26. ✔️ A book from the New Adult Book Club contemporary monthly group reads
Built by Jay Crownover Completed 1/10/2016
Review - I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style in this book and I wish the author had developed the characters more. If I had read the Marked Men series maybe I would have enjoyed this story.

27. A book on your Recommendation list generated by Goodreads
Price of a Kiss by Linda Kage
28. A book with a colour in the title

29. A book with a red cover

30. A book with a blue cover

31. A book with a yellow cover

32. ✔️ A book with no colour on the cover
Finding Eden by Mia Sheridan Completed 1/14/2016
Review - I slightly enjoyed this second half better than Becoming Calder (Probably because it had less cult craziness). However, I missed all the dramatic twists and turns the first half had.

33. A book with a number in the title

34. A book your mum loves (doesn’t have to be New Adult if not possible)

35. A book based on a true story

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

46. A book you learned about because of this challenge

47. A book from our Read It Review It program

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover Completed ****
49. A book on a member’s TBR list

Lick by Kylie Scott Completed 1/21/2016

52. ✔️ A book from the library
Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover Completed 1/12/2016
Review - I wish Miles healing process would have been more throughout the book instead of mostly at the end (I think it would have been more believable). I also wish that Miles current thoughts would have been told, not just his past. I liked the connection between this book and November 9.

1.) The Score (Off-Campus, #3) by Elle Kennedy 4.) A Lover's Lament by K.L. Grayson 12.) Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James 13.) Him (Him #1) by Sarina Bowen 21.) Message 73 has your new book for #51. I replied to yours when I did other members. I chose Wounded by Jasinda Wilder.

Any best-seller list, bookshops have them, and they are different in each country. Also they don't always have New Adult books so that's why I didn't give a specific list. But let me know if you want me to find one site for everyone to use. Please see Challenge questions/comments for more information.
