They're full of ink, it feels disgusting!

I'm going to try and do a quick re-read. I was really disappointed with this book the first time I read it. I was expecting something amazing, and got something really average.

I was the same. It was so hyped before it got released, i was really excited, but it turned out to be rubbish.

This was actually the first buddy read i did in the group! It was also the first one we did together.

Chapter 24:
(view spoiler)[This is an interesting concept, but the writing is quite poor. In an effort to make the main character's dialogue seem natural and a bit harried, things end up getting repeated frequently. It's rather odd to me. I'm not entirely certain what the nature of these aliens are really. Pace needs picking up. But things look bleak... (hide spoiler)]

I'm just now starting this... That introduction was creepy! What I got from it is that basically still born babies are actually babies that have been... turned into aliens while inside the mother's womb... That's so crazy to think about!
