I would probably have to do a happy dance.
You'll love it!

I think he submitted his draft to the editor..so hopefully it'll only be a few more months! I can't wait.

Allison, I obsessively read his blog! His feed is on my iGoogle homepage, LOL.

Thanks for the link to his blog!

woohoo!

Vicki I am sooooo excited for you to read it! Keep me updated.

don't worry. You'll read it super fast :)

man. I should check this group more often :P little behind in here. We've talked about it since you posted this, but I still have to say that I'm thrilled you loved it :D
I agree about the beginning being slow...it might have taken me even longer then 50 pages to get into it.

You wouldn't think that we could be devoted to a book that takes 50-75 pages to get into...

Well, in any case, I better finish this first one before I say more.
Does anyone know if it's to be a trilogy, or a series of indeterminate length, or... ?

I think it's due out on my birthday!!!

I'm hoping The Name of the Wind is available in audio, in which case it will be added to my Christmas wishlist.

There is nothing wrong with having some lazy. I'm a fan of it myself. :o)

I've been doing the same thing! I loved Discovery of Witches, and have read it twice already. Dying for the sequel to come out.
And put me in the Name of the Wind camp -- that is one incredible book. I was amazed by it.

Who all has read this? It could arguably be considered proper for a young adult book, since the main character Kvothe, is telling the story of his life as a child in this first book of a trilogy.
I LOVE this book...its second only to HP.
