Relish: My Life in the Kitchen by Lucy Knisley
Hudson Valley, New York, USA
New York City, NY, USA
Chicago, IL, USA
In Real Life by Cory Doctorow
Flagstaff, AZ, USA

Ah ok, I know there are two different names for it I just didn't see any Harry Potter on the map list. My bad,

Ah, that may be the problem then. I was looking under the "unreal" locations but it makes sense that they would be under the real locations if that was what Rowling based the books after.

I hate to make more work for you, though. It just may be a broken link ;((

No problem. If you don't see something that should be there, definitely let me know so I can make sure it wasn't overlooked or it isn't an issue. I think, in this case, some locations from my last update didn't actually stick. I sometimes have issues with the map when I try and update from work. That is where I updated the map last and it's possible there was an issue saving that wasn't apparent to me at the time. No worries. I'll go back through the update and make sure everything is there.
I do not see The Postman Always Rings Twice on the map but I do see all the Harry Potter books and Cuckoo's Calling ... so I'm now wondering if I set something wrong where you guys cannot see.

I don't see:
- The Postman Always Rings Twice (Hiddlen Valley, CA)
- In Other Words (Rome, Italy and Ft. Greene, Brooklyn)
- Fahrenheit 451 (Los Angeles, CA)
- A Little Life (SoHo, NY - this had been up there previously, but now disappeared)
Don't know if there are any more, but I'll let you know.

France - French Lessons: Adventures with Knife, Fork, and Corkscrew by Peter Mayle

Does the map count imaginary/fictional locales?

Primary location is in Norway. It's almost as far north as possible. The nearest town mentioned is Alta.
Secondary location: Oslo, Norway
Emm is away for a little while so I'm going to take over the map until she gets back.
Updated for Michelle, Debra, Francesca, Laura, Amy, Kelly, Silvia, Kathryn, Estelle, Jennifer, Stacey, Jody, Rachel, Kathy, Zaz, Emm, Sam F, and Peter
Michelle,
The Slow Regard of Silent Things: I'm assuming the University is a fictional location. Correct me if I'm wrong!
Far From the Madding Crowd: it looks like Wessex has since changed names and was broken up into a number of different territories. I placed it at Dorset. Casterbridge appears to be fictional and based off Hardy's hometown of Dorchester.
I have finished through message 619. I'll continue as soon as possible.
Stacey, once I catch up I can go back and check the previous batch to see what is missing.

I believe I have updated all of the locations for the most recent batch. I'll go through and double check the previous batch when I get a chance. In the meantime, if someone notices the map is missing a submission then just comment either the message # or resubmit the book/location/name of person submitting.
J: I placed the primary marker in San Francisco and then did the remaining locations as secondary. If you want me to move them then just let me know.
Sam F: I placed the markes in Stockholm, Sweden and Fort Meade, MD (secondary) since that's what the GR page said. If that's wrong then I can move them.
Rachel: It looks like Farbrook is a fictional town and I wasn't able to find a real world basis. I just placed it in New Jersey but I can make it more specific if you have any ideas.
Jody: from the map on the Wiki page, it seems like Bon Temps is located near Winnfield so that's where I placed the marker.
Sarah: I did a little research since The Devil in the White City is non-fiction. I placed the marker for the fair in what is now Jackson Park and the hotel/castle at South Wallace/63rd streets.

Laura, can you add me to the locations for this book, along with Kristin and Rachel who are up there? Believe there are 3 (1 Primary and 2 secondary) locations. Thanks!
Added Stacey, along with my own:
Duma Key by Stephen King
Primary:
Duma Key, Florida (fictional - placed on Manasota Key)
Secondary:
St. Paul, Minnesota

Yes, it was really good! It was a bit lengthy but that's pretty typical of King. I liked the setting since he's usually pretty exclusive to the northeast.
