(view spoiler)[ Amazing! I cannot believe that it was his mom the entire time trying to kill off her son and husband! She is fucking psychotic. Also Kady's conversation with Ezra's Mom was so badass and foreshadowing the future books (because she indicates other events that are going to happen). ALSO! AIDAN redeemed himself and to find out that a part of him made it out alive on the datapad and is now working with Illuminae group to take down BiTech makes me so happy! I cannot wait to see how the future books deal with new characters and how everyone is going to work together. I am also happy that Ezra and Kady have reunited and will be together now.

My two favourite badass moments at the end of the book is the conversation between Kady and Ezra's Mom Leanne: it just shows that Kady is ready to take down this evil corporation for everything that they have done to her and everyone else.

My other favourite badass moment is her last words to Leanne: "Now Run" ugh that was just perfect and sums up the next adventure of the series. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[This book is so intense. I love how things start off right in the thick of things. I love Katy and Ezra. I love how Katy is trying to spy and figure things out with her superior computer skills. I also like how she made a friend on the other ship. It’s clear that the higher-ups are hiding a lot of things. I don’t blame Katy for trying to dig up some truth. It sucks that it took her so long to speak to Ezra though. AIDAN taking over and blowing up that ship was crazy. I can’t believe how much time has gone by since the attack on Kerenza. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[This infection is insane. A pile of mutilated bodies spelling the words ‘Help Us’? That is so gruesome. And that little girl? Creepy as fuck. BeiTech are monsters for releasing this on Kerenza. It is interesting to hear the progression of the pathogen though while they are figuring things out. And the fact that they are keeping things like this quiet to the rest of the populace is concerning. And the fact that Ezra’s friend is the one that was left behind after he tried to save that little girl is just so sad.

Things are just going to hell, aren’t they? The Hypatia are thinking about going it alone because of all the things that the Alexander have been keeping from them. They get AIDAN back online and he sure is a smarty little A.I. The fact that he is envious of Mason is creepy though. AIDAN still thinks that he can kill a few to save the many but his whole thinking process for that is way skewed. (hide spoiler)]

Katy finding Ezra’s friend was so sad.

Holy shit! It wasn’t Ezra at all but AIDAN that was talking to Katy? That is so messed up.

It almost feels like AIDAN likes Katy and has a thing for her. But he is a computer more or less so that’s weird. I wonder why he fixated on Katy, of all people. Her computer skills maybe? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[The ending was pretty incredible. Katy was able to survive and Ezra wasn’t even dead! I liked the ending with Ezra’s mom of all people but I want to know more about her and BeiTech. And I am so confused about AIDAN, to be honest. He killed so many people but he also did some good things. And the way that AIDAN seemed infatuated with Katy was weird. But AIDAN survived too. Maybe he will be a little less murdery now. (hide spoiler)]

Third quarter - (view spoiler)[The countdown to the other ship's interception adds so much tension to the second half of this. It also makes the interactions between Kady and Ezra a little softer as they both let their boundaries down and reveal the secrets they had previously kept hidden and had caused the dispute in their relationships. Ezra could not leave their planet as he was hiding from his own mother and Kady was on the ship all alone and unable to be with hers. (hide spoiler)]

Fourth quarter - (view spoiler)[I always forget how eerie this book gets, as Kady is travelling around the ship and attempting to avoid those inflicted with the virus. Byron's death was so sad! The reveal that it was Aiden who brought Kady to the ship and not Ezra was such a good twist!! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Okay, did no one realize AIDAN was trying to contain the plague when it killed the ship? Everyone thinks it's mad but it's obviously trying to protect them? I'm confused. Like yes, the method is extreme, but there's no cure and everyone would've died horribly in the end anyway, and if they keep sending people to other ships the other ships could've been infected too. I'm confused why no one saw that even when they saw what the plague did firsthand to those people in hangar bay 4.

(view spoiler)[Seriously could not stop reading. The story kept escalating beyond my expectations - I didn't know there was going to be so much carnage. I BELIEVED AIDAN WHEN IT SAID EZRA WAS DEAD and that was a really shocking moment. But he's not!

It was a really great story, I can see it easily being a movie. Honestly superb writing. (hide spoiler)]
