I'm in. Did the levels Jump for next year? I thought I was level 4 this year with 4 series.
I'm in again for 2016. I finished 2 of my 3 series for 2015. I will definitely try to finished the Laura Lippman series and will decide later on any others.
I'm in at Level 2, and hoping to complete at least two series this year. The first series I'll be working on is the the Cat Who series by Lillian Jackson Braun, which I'm almost finished with. The second series is yet to be determined. I'm looking forward to this challenge for 2016!
I was too optimistic last year so I'm aiming to finish one of the three series I'm currently in the middle of *sigh*Good luck!
I just posted my sign up post today! I'm excited for this challenge! I just cannot for the life of me figure out what to read.
I'm in. I have a LOT of series I want to finally finish - Level 4.
Not sure if I'll be pushing myself, but I am aiming for Level 4 too.
I will try Level 2. Glad to join you! This will help clear off a shelf or two....or at least get rid of one of the dusty piles of books in my bedroom!

I think I'm going to do level 3 this year, 3-6 series. I'm going to start with 3 series and then it gives me room to do a couple more if I want to.

Going to do level 3 with the same idea as BJ :-) I'd like to do at least 4 series but want to leave room for more if I get that far.
Im in for level 3. Are we supposed to make our own thread to track our series?

We all start a series or six and then get behind for one reason or another. This challenge will help you catch up.
The details:
All books that are part of a continuing series qualify (i.e. Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson, Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, James Patterson's Alex Cross, etc.)
It doesn't matter if you have 1 book or 10 books in a series to complete it, it qualifies (i.e. if you only need to read one more Mercy Thompson book to complete the goal, that's fine) The goal is to complete a series from wherever you are up to until the last published book.
If you start a series during 2016 and then read and finish the series in 2016, that counts.
Re-reads of books in a series won't count but any new reads in the series you re-read will count.
If you re-start and finish a book you that you started but didn't finish previously, that will count.
The qualification period is January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. Books must be read during this time frame to count. Sign up is now until December 1, 2016.
Start a folder under the appropriate level to post your planned reads and track your actual reads and progress.
Each month there will be a blog post where you can link up your reviews. Or in this group, make a folder where you track your reads. Write a review - 2 sentences or an essay, whatever works for you, but there is a minimum of 2 sentences. Not sure what to write? How about something like, "The characters were a delight but the story was slow and confusing. It was disappointing."
Any format and length of book counts - print, audio, ebook, etc.
You should choose the series you want to finish before the challenge begins, but it isn't necessary. It's fine to change series during the year - as long as you complete whichever series it is.

Level 1 (Novice series reader) - Complete 1 series.
Level 2 (Testing the waters) - Complete 2 -4 series.
Level 3 (Experienced) - Complete 3 - 6 series.
Level 4 (Expert series reader) - Complete 7 or more series.
