So this one has completely stalled and failed.. haha...nat made it too difficult...so it was the young adult / new adult book Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire...is there any one else who wants to have a go... feel free :)

Carolyn | 9840 comments Need some clues? The author's initials are J.E. He's American and won the Pulitzer Prize for this novel, written in 2002. The first sentence is a good hint about the book's name and content.
Phrynne, Bette and Suzanne have read it and it's on a lot of other tbrs.

I devoured her books when I was young but I can't remember if one of the dragonriders was called Lessa or which book she was in.

Just learned something new! I didn't know she is Chinese American. I'm sure there are quite a few more I should be thinking of and it'll be really obvious when Michael tells us.
