Robert Young | 3 comments I really need help finding this series I read. I read this book series in the late 90's to early 2000's. I am not sure when the book series was written, just that I remember reading it back around middle school or high school. The book is a young adult fantasy. It is about two girls who are witches that were separated at birth. They come to find out they are related and they are both witches after their parents die in accidents. They then go on to fight evil Warlocks/Wizards who are trying to kill them to take their powers. I remember the beginning of the first book in the series is set in the Southern United States, somewhere around Louisiana or Mississippi.

Any help on this is much appreciated, I have been trying to find it for over 5 years

Is it the third or fifth results?

Possibly try these:

Krazykiwi | 152 comments T*Witches? The Power of Two starts the series. I think there might have been some tv films made too.

Valerie (valeriekemp) | 274 comments Whoops, I actually meant the Balefire series by the same author, not Sweep! A Chalice of Wind is the first book, the other link goes to the omnibus.

Robert Young | 3 comments So I have tried to google it and it always came up with T*Witches which ones't the one I was thinking of. But I think that Valerie may have been right with Balefire, I will look through the series to see if it's right and confirm it. Thanks!

Laina SpareTime | 96 comments Only one parent dies in the T*Witches series, FYI. Much better book than the movies are. *off-topic muttering*
