I'm doing The Book Thief in Feb.

I'd like to read Cinder, but I need to buy it or borrow it. Maybe we can schedule it?

Sorry to hear you are not well. I battle chronic illness so I know what a bummer being sick is like. Hope you feel better soon :)

Cassandra | 5832 comments Hey Zara - we're actually hoping to be reading Insurgent in February - can you update that? :)

Will you be reading Allegiant in March?

You're still in on Hunger Julie?

Do you wanna try for March on 'Cinder'? Either that or we can just wait until you have the book and then start.

message 157: by Winter, Group Reads (new)

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments Cinder is the first book right? I really want to start that series, I'm hoping to get the hardback for it on monday/tuesday. If I do I want to join :)

message 158: by Zara's Retreat (new)

Zara's Retreat | 2365 comments I've marked Cinder down for March just in case you want to go ahead with it.

message 159: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Cinder is the first book. Then scarlet, cress, and finally winter. Fairest is the novella that was published between cress and winter.

message 160: by Winter, Group Reads (new)

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments Nice. I just need this book in Hardback if possible, the covers are stunning!!! (And pretty much every booktuber have them so I look at them every day)

Kady (kadyevans) Debbie wrote: "Has anyone read My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante? Looking to start a new book..any suggestions? anyone want to read one with me?"

Debbie - If you and anyone else was thinking about My Brilliant Friend, I got a copy for Christmas. I'd love to read it in March.

Cassandra | 5832 comments Zara, there is some interest for Allegiant but I don't think we've decided exactly when we want to do it. We'll keep you posted! (Julie, if you have a plan for this feel free to say so!)

I'm finishing Divergent (probably this weekend), and I have Insurgent on the way. I would like to do Allegiant as soon as possible, and I also recommend Four: A Divergent Story Collection because it's a prequel and will fit in the PopSugar Challenge:)

I was wondering where Four: A Divergent Story Collection fits in? Can we read it after Allegiant. If so the we could do 2 weeks each for Insurgent, the Allegiant, and finish with Four: A Divergent Story Collection. That would give everyone time to comment and not fall behind if life crops up. What do all think?

message 165: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 5832 comments That works for me - I read pretty fast. But if someone needs more time than that to read and discuss, I can do any timeline. :)

message 166: by Winter, Group Reads (new)

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments Hm does that mean that you are spreading those out over three months? Zara has set Divergent for February too, is that wrong? I have just gotten the first, might get a full boxset, we will see next week.

message 167: by Amanda (new)

Amanda @Winter the plan is to read Insurgent and Allegiant, and times allows Four, in February, since most of us in the buddy read have already finished Divergent.

I'd love to but I have to read it for a different group in Feb. If I can switch I'll let you know. We're playing a game that other pick a book for you, but others have switched before so I can see :)

Julie Webb | 135 comments Cassandra wrote: "That works for me - I read pretty fast. But if someone needs more time than that to read and discuss, I can do any timeline. :)"

I agree. I think flexibility is key with these things if possible to accommodate everyone. I am fine with anytime line, I just want to finalize it so I can plan my other reading.

Me too, looking forward to Feb. I'm cramming to finish a bunch still in January lol.

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments Me too lol ^^ Marathoning ;)

message 175: by Caro (new)

Caro (karopi) | 995 comments Sadly for February is not possible for me anymore... I have booked myself already in too many books already so I will wait till the April idea... But maybe you can join the discussion then!

message 177: by Winter, Group Reads (new)

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments I have to admit I'm very confused with Divergent. Is anyone reading this in February or was it just January?:)

Yes

message 179: by Amanda (new)

Amanda @Winter I believe some people may be reading it in February, but the majority of us have finished already.

message 180: by Winter, Group Reads (new)

Winter (winter9) | 4998 comments Zara:

I see now that Divergent are not on February, so I guess you can cut me from that one. Might give me time to get the version I want and my tbr for February a little more manageble lol.

Gabriella | 400 comments @Zara - I'll read The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales in February, with Jeana. Could you put this in the Mod Thread?

message 182: by Rook (last edited Jan 25, 2016 12:12AM) (new)

Amanda I'm still trying to figure out when we will read 'The Goldfinch.' Is it March or April? and when has 'The Book Thief' been set?

I will do Cinder sometime this year. What month do you want to do it?

message 188: by Julie (new)

Julie Webb | 135 comments Zara, can you put in Insurgent for 2 weeks in Feb.; Allegiant for the next 2 weeks of Feb., and Four: A Divergent Story Collection for the 2 weeks after that. 6 weeks total and would end in March, to do the series. Thanks :)

Hmm.. Could we say like May? That will give me time to get the book, I can't buy more books right now ;/ I am kind of hoping to get it used, but we only have one such page that's good in Norway and it's not common. If I can't find it 'till then I will buy it for kindle..

May sounds great. I understand about buying more book. My hubby said I have to read the ones I bought before I buy anymore. I think we might need to negotiate lol. I'm hoping for used too. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, it did. I popped over to the Mod post and saw it was under February so I just so of shrugged and figured that worked as long as that works for you. Sorry about that.

I thought I saw someone else say they wanted to read Vicious as well.

message 199: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 5832 comments It looks like Ariel was interested in Vicious with us.

Ariel, if you're reading this, does February still work for you?

message 200: by Maria (new)

Maria Johnson | 10 comments I'd like to join reading The Book Thief too pls
